yes a split decision looks like a closer fight because judges cant decide on who won... Not correct. That is my whole point. In a split decision, the judges DID decide who won, its just that 2 saw it differently than the 3rd. If judges cannot decide who won, it's a draw. In MMA, judges don't work together when submitting their scores. They sit in different spots cageside and do not speak or consult on their scores/verdicts. im agreeing with you. in a way. its like taking a poll with 3 judges.. who won. if judge a says fighter b wins and judge b says fighter a wins and judge c says fighter a wins. all we are saying is that.. that it seems like a closer fight than if all judges said fighter a

But I am saying that is all it is. "SEEMS". Because we are just talking about a difference of opinions. So 3 judges scoring it 48-47 for fighter A (unanimous decision) is a closer fight than a split decision with 2 judges scoring it 50-45 for fighter A and 1 judge scoring it 48-47 for fighter B (split decision). Disagreeing with one judge, ref, call, decion, etc. makes sense. But my issue comes when what people claim SHOULD happen is they say a fight SHOULD be "2 people agree and one person disagrees with the other 2". That is the part that I keep saying is meaningless. Saying someone SHOULD disagree with 2 others but the other 2 probably got it right is just a downright strange thing to say. Hence my "saying a fight SHOULD be a split decision is meaningless".

time for me to say something.... davis did beat down rousey in this one. davis had more strikes than rousey. davis overall fought more well rounded than rousey. davis also had some submissions. HOWEVER!!! Rousey was not trying to fight well rounded. takedown submission repeat. judges obviously saw more damage being done in submissions and saw control of the fight being rouseys. yes a split decision looks like a closer fight because judges cant decide on who won... but it doesnt truly mean it was a close fight. in my opinion. davis gave a great showing here but never leave a fight in the hands of the judges. especially in manmma. ^^THIS^^ Eat shit this time The Sandmen... One judge should've scored this fight for Davis, if they were competent. ManMMA judges do drink the Kool-Aid though... So do you, apparently... Why can't you even acknowledge a good fight? You have to shit on PFC, just because... Fuck you Leahy!

You know the other person lost an argument when their whole argument turns into "My proof is my best friend agrees with me so eat shit", lol. No... You know you're a piece of shit when you can't acknowledge a good fight when you see one asshole. Just proves your own personal bias against PFC. Thanks.

This post reveals your high level of special far more than anything else, really. At no point in time did I say the fight was bad, nor have I even been disagreeing with you about anything related to the fight. All I am correcting you (and now xx - Team GAP) on, is what a close fight in MMA is. Saying you want a split decision is meaningless. You guys want fights to be close, say they should be draws. You can speak for your own opinion, but saying that "2 people should agree with you but one must also disagree" is bat-shit crazy. Short version:Draw = Close fight 48-47 = Close fight 50-45 = Domination Majority decision = 2 judges agreed on the winner, one was undecided Majority draw = 1 judge decided on a winner, two were undecided Unanimous Decision = Everyone agreed with WHO won the fight (though not necessarily by how much) Split Decision = 2 judges agreed on who won, and one disagreed. When you say something should be a split decision, you sound like a moron. You know what a split decision is And you know it makes no sense to say "2 guys should agree with each other and 1 guy should disagree with those two". You are just stuck in an argument loop, and to save face, you have to keep arguing your meaningless point, despite it meaning literal nonsense. The Rocketmen - we officially have a TheJosh.

Sadly, I'm not... but a computer program dictates otherwise, as usual... This was a good fight... Davis lost, unfortunately, whether it was a uni or a split... Folks shitting on her performance is what I have a problem with here. She went the distance against Rousey... That IS of note.
