rattlesnakes just pmed me and reminded me I get severn back because he didn't work on him. Something sits very wrong with me that Rattlesnakes seems to have poked the bear here, reminding Byron of this trade (however that came about), then now (even though he himself is staff, and was staff at the time of this trade) immediately has other staff members trying to pay his agreed-to debts for him. If life was like this, I would have a free house, free car, and my credit card company would owe me money, not t'other way round.

He said he likes making fair trades, and without remembering clauses, I sent this saying it wasn't fair.

It happens, but specifically for the purpose of just keeping the peace, since I believe one party is not a fan of this trade in retrospect, I'd rather just cover the cost of having Severn myself. Lord Byron's Conquistadors if you prefer to do a fighter for fighter swap, I would trade you Rory for Severn. Just want to lock in 3 HWs. Adding Severn to your team, I believe, would set you at 4. Don't worry about it, if it's points he wants, I'll send him the points. I owe him one since GSP won a GP that season anyway.

I'm not even making a big deal out of anything. I'm just pissed because yall expect me to remember something from six months ago when they guy that wanted the stipulations in a trade I was already getting raped in couldn't.

If you don’t like consequences then don’t agree to a trade with stipulations.

If you don’t like consequences then don’t agree to a trade with stipulations. Are you mental?? I literally have no problems with this. I'm just saying don't blame just me. That's really shitty to expect me to be the only one to remember. Why is it my responsibility alone?

I was not aware of any stipulations on gsp when i traded for him. if gsp wins a belt i suggest you take a point from rattlesnakes since he made the deal with you. i dont feel its fair to hold this kinda deal over on a team that has nothing to do with your deal. if there is a stipulation placed on a fighter like this there has to be a place where we can go to see said stipulations before we trade for someone... or stipulations like this are only between agreeing parties and not placed on fighter. i like what this guy had to say

I understand your perspective fully.
However. Stipulations are part of a trade. The reason people include stipulations or clauses is because they matter. It's not unlike a trade including points, or draft picks. We have to ensure they get dealt with properly, even if we miss them at the time.
Should teams be made aware of stipulations attached to fighters they are acquiring? Of course. But sometimes, things really do just come down to the fact that we can't be perfect, we are 3 volunteer people with real-life stuff also happening and we cannot constantly remember or keep track of stipulations or any other minutiae that might come about. We catch what we can when we catch it, and if that is after the fact, that sucks, but sometimes that is life. If we were Bethesda or Electronic Arts, then we would make glitch free games for everyone.

Well, if I can weigh in as a quasi-neutral party here...
I am kind of confused as to what points go to Lord Byron should GSP win a belt. Are the 15 points conditional? If so, that should have been stated in the body of the trade, not just the explanation.
However, I think since the initial deal was between Lord Byron & Rattlesnakes that Rattlesnakes should be on the hook for the stipulations he agreed to with this deal, not GAP, and the points agreed to should come from Rattlesnakes, should they come to fruition.
It's kind of like paying salary for a player in a hockey sim, whereby the initial team that is paying the salary portion still pays that portion. The debt isn't transferred to the team trading away that player.
GAP is kind of an innocent bystander here.

The GP and Belt clauses were supposed to say if he won them on my team, but I didn't write them carefully, because I didn't think I would trade him. My fault, but still sucks.
