I think I only have like 7 fighters now, just wanted to throw that out there, and of them I still know a few I'd be free to give to a new members. with that said, I'm still open to trading. You do have one of the smaller teams, and you have 10 fighters.

Makes sense...considering how strongly you told me you would have wanted one when you signed up. Seems pretty hypocritical. You aren't providing any new or valid arguments about why it would harm the league to allow new members to take our leftovers, so I'll consider this matter closed. I never even knew about any expansion draft, nor was I told there could be one when I signed up. I was just told I could pick my team from the 2 lists available, which I did. How is that hypocritical? Stop putting words in my mouth, man cuz this one was just a blatant lie. As for a valid argument: 1) I'm happy with the size of my current roster though I'd, in fact, want 1 more LW and 1 more FW to round it out a bit more. 2) I'm one of the weaker teams in league at this point, despite the fact that mine is one of the larger rosters. 3) Since it wasn't practiced for new teams coming in before, like myself and Team GAP, it's my feeling that it shouldn't be instituted afterwards because, again despite some of the roster sizes, in my opinion, it hurts weaker teams in the league alot more than you'd think. It has nothing to do with hurting the league, but it does have everything to do with hurting my team. Call me selfish if you want, but honestly, the only fighter I have on my roster right now that I wouldn't be TOO sad to part with is Lashley, but even then, with points I've put into him already, he'd still be a huge loss because of putting those points into him. I agree with GAP, that if your worst fighter does happen to get picked, we should atleast have the option of picking up another fighter, even if it is at a cost of a couple of upgrade points. This is only because, chances are, that any new team that comes in isn't JUST going to pick our worst fighters from our rosters. Atleast to me, it's more likely for them to take from the lists, which translates to more fighters in the league anyways and basically tosses that ridiculous poll out the window; yes, I was the lone gunman on the grassy knoll that voted for less fights and more fighters. And why not? Strategically for my team, that was the best option; less fights could equal a better chance for a better record for my team come the end of the season. Granted, it's gamble because it could just as easily go the other way, but with the high potential of my more "underling" fighters, it's a pretty safe bet that my team is going to get better as the seasons press on. And while it's true that there's no guarantee that my worst fighter would get picked, I'm just not fond of the idea of losing a fighter for nothing, especially when it's a fighter that I've already invested in because the loss of a fighter will make my team already weak team a little weaker. This is my stance on it. I'm not looking for you to try and convince me otherwise, nor am I blaming anyone else that I picked a "builder" roster when I started. These are just the cards I currently have, and as a GM I have to want what's best for my current team.

How is that hypocritical? Stop putting words in my mouth, man cuz this one was just a blatant lie. You said (whined, specifically) that you didn't get one, so no one else should get one. In other words, if something WAS wrong, we may never ever fix it for others because you didn't get that benefit. How very adult of you.... You also told me several times that you would have liked an expansion draft when you signed up - you also said at one point even if you had one the only guy you would want would be Brock because you picked your team from guys you like. In other news, The LEAGUE voted almost unanimously to keep the number of fights we have. Therefore, this isn't a poll right now. It's done. To reply to your most valid point, re: people taking form the list anyways, sure, they will pick from both. Or just from the lists. But the option means there is a very very good chance to reduce the influx in fighters regardless. Again, I want to reiterate, you are beating a dead horse here. This argument is about 2 weeks too late, this decision is long decided and moved on, and this is just over. No one else cared enough to say a word except you two, which is consistent with the 9-2 voting on keeping the fights consistently at what they are. The thing with a democracy (for better or worse) is a majority wins. Unfortunately, this time, the majority is not with you. The expansion option has been added to the Sign Up rules for almost a week now. It's long over.

You always assume everything that I say is whining... All I said was that I didn't get one and GAP didn't get one when there were more teams, so why, when there's less teams, would you have an expansion draft when you didn't when there were more teams. That doesn't make any sense at all. That is ALL I said. And yes, I told you a few times AFTER I had signed up, selected my team and been here for a bit, that was the point you actually told me that "Oh gee... we could've or should've done an expansion draft when I signed up." That's convenient... : But at that time, you're right, I did say I would've liked one and that I would've probably only wanted Brock. And I DO like the fighters on my team, now with Brock too. But as I said above, it makes no sense to have an expansion draft with fewer teams and fewer fighters in the league but not have one when there are more teams and more fighters. It's just backwards, that's all. It should've been implemented already by the time I signed up.
