I agree with the "if it ain't broke; don't fix it" adage, obviously, but if she did have more in her arsenal, she'd have used it by now... judo silver medalist or not.

Ah yes, but I also made you watch that fight You did not make me watch anything. I saw the fight when it happened. I RE-watched it when you were talking to me about it for a refresher. Ah yes, but I also made you watch that fight because, of all Rousey's wins, that was the worst and most controversial one of the bunch. Not only did Rousey dictate to the ref how that went down by looking over at him and saying "I got it!". (and cuz Mazagatti's a fucking moron lol) D'Alelio was on her feet, in dominant position and despite being in a fairly sloppy armbar by Rousey's standards, she was about to start pounding Rousey's pretty little face. lol She done the exact same thing to Porto and others, in virtually the same position, and got out of it with hammer fists to the face. And I get that there was the Strikeforce rule that you can verbally tap out, but there's a big difference between an exertion grunt when you're trying to get position and a cry out in pain. Rules are rules, and that's fine. In the record books it's still a loss by Technical Submission, but that fight shouldn't have been called, and likely wouldn't have been called in Invicta or UFC. As I said when we were talking about it before, that fight is the only asterix on Rousey's record as far as I'm concerned cuz that was the only time I've seen her leave herself that vulnerable when executing her armbar. Mazagatti definitely gets the assist for giving Rousey that fight. lol These excuses are not even remotely relevant to her build. a) it's a rule of unified MMA, not "Strikeforce". The same rules ALL north American MMA is contested under. b) it made no impact on her build. A loss is a loss. She lost. It's not like she was dominating Rousey, got touched on the arm and Steve stopped it. c) D'Alelio is currently not signed by the UFC. This kinda indicates they do not consider her a top 10 female 135er either. They would have been all over that finish and used it to sell a rematch. The stoppage was legit. The scream was legit. The loss was legit. There is no damned asterix in anyone's mind. Sarah D'Alelio lost to Rousey. Period. d) it would have no reason to affect her build (since the rest of her resume is no-names) and every name on her resume (including about 4 women on this site) have also beat her. So the builds of THOSE women (as well as Rousey) are higher than her too.
