There was nothing inaccurate about that paragraph Sandman, nor did you disprove any of the points I made there. If anything, your statement is inaccurate and out of context.
1) I could not create a position myself at that time because I wasn't staff. You were the only staff member and admin that could make that decision. I asked if I could have points for it; you granted it. So in effect you created it, not me. Simple.
2) The reason I proposed a slightly lower post count than yours when I took on a "staff position (and use that term loosely) was because I knew that my post load would be different from yours, especially since I wasn't to be doing the Fight History anymore. You agreed and it was set at 75; actually, technically, it was first set at 2 points for 150. It's the same thing, but I was finding it was a taking ridiculously long time to obtain a point when you were racking up points left right and centre through mostly posting, and most of that was due to doing the sims. Which I do agree, is probably your only argument here, but the fact that you wouldn't slide my post count back down to 50 if I stepped down as staff is the concerning part to me in this.
If I'm not to be considered staff, why should I have to have a 75-100 post count until the end of the season? Your answer: "punishment for leaving in a huff". Which seems kind of ridiculous considering that you were allowing RocketMen to be at 50 posts while simming the ML. This was double standard #1 that lead to double standard #2. And that was that if I started simming the ML, my post count would automatically go up to 100, when you previously stated that it would stay the same if I stepped down. If it works one way, it should work the same the other way in my estimation.
But unfortunately, folks are only looking at my activity on the site and the fact that I'll be simming the ML, which on one hand is fair, but on the other, based on what I've stated above here, it's not necessarily the reasoning behind why I think it's right to do it at the end of the season and encourage folks to take that into some consideration when they make their vote, and not just based it on their opinion of me or the fact that I'm a more active poster than they might be. That's not really fair either.
