@phoenix, I really don't think it's about you... I might be wrong, but it's not the 'feeling' I get off this.
How bout every 75 as a compromise?

Cannon mentioned 75, and it's all well and good EXCEPT it's an unclean number to keep track of on PA and an extra annoyance/time consumption on that front. I would prefer to stick to 50s and 100s for that reason.

I think you are over-emphasizing the "you" in all this. No one is talking about standings, we are talking about allowing the Knockouts, Byrons, etc of the league to get more out of the site and not feel like they have no hope in hell of ever catching up - the same feeling GAP mentioned having when he signed up. No one is out to get anyone. If I was out to get you, I would just slap the rule down and not be asking the lower-end posters their input. It's a community decision about what is best for the community. How can I over-emphasize the "me" when I'm the only one that's actually getting affected by it because you're already at 100 posts? And catch up to what though? What do they need to catch up to when KO's & Cannon are seasonally one of the Top 5 teams in the league and Byron generally finishes higher in than I do which just tells me that this perception that they think I have some sort of advantage is complete fiction. If I had any sort of an advantage, edge or whatever, I'd be at the top of the league every season, have all the champions and no one could beat me. Does that sound familiar to you? But no one says shit about your posts or that you generally have 10 points banked at any given time, it all gets shuffled down on me generally. The thing is that I feel like I have no hope in being able to catch up either because it doesn't matter how much I improve my team with upgrades, I'm still behind because everyone else's teams are getting better at double the rate that mine is. That's not fair either.

If you wanted a better TEAM (collectively) you could have spent all of your D'Alelio upgrades on the rest of your team, rather than going all-in on one fighter. My (repeated) point is that Knockouts doesn't post enough to have that option.

My team is not a top 5 team anymore . It used to be but now other fighters are more upgraded than my fighters. To me this is issue is kind of like EA when you think about it.

@phoenix, I really don't think it's about you... I might be wrong, but it's not the 'feeling' I get off this. I appreciate the sentiment and I'd love to think that too, but it's hard not think that when I'm the only one that's going to be affected by it. I'm basically being penalized for being an active member of the site. Does that seem right to you? If you wanted a better TEAM (collectively) you could have spent all of your D'Alelio upgrades on the rest of your team, rather than going all-in on one fighter. My (repeated) point is that Knockouts doesn't post enough to have that option. That point is irrelevant 1) because 95% of the points Sarah got were while I was as 50 posts and 2) she was already nearly capped when I got bumped up to 75 then 100. Also, I didn't neglect the rest of my team as a result of putting those points into her like Cannon did with Rousey cuz I put roughly the same points into the rest of the team than I did on Sarah. She just ended up being a focal point for folks cuz I ended up capping her. My team is not a top 5 team anymore . It used to be but now other fighters are more upgraded than my fighters. To me this is issue is kind of like EA when you think about it. You make the GP more often than not still dude. Why should my team have to remain shitty while everyone else's can get better? Does that seem fair to you? Put yourself in my position for a second and take a look at it.

I actually do understand where you're coming from Phoenix. The thing is nothing is really fair.
We need the 'non posters'. We need their teams, their input, their continued interest in the site. So we need them to feel like they can be winners.
We need the 'posters'. They are what gives life to this site. We need their dedication, their knowledge, and the fun that can be had in a real back and forth conversation.
Both parties are equally important but are not equally 'earning' their points. I feel like the posters earn their points and deserve them, but I also don't want to loose anybody because we need the variety the number of teams we have provides us.
I don't have a solution, and it doesn't look like anyone else really does either. When we developed the points system we didn't foresee the disparity it would create. Maybe we should go back to an even system- keep points because everybody loves 'em, but not have them be something to be earned. But will people still post? Still converse?

Fuck it I'd go to 100 posts/point. I see that my point rate is high so to make it fair I will go to 100 posts/point.

The problem is that this seems more like a witch hunt on me than actually a solution to the problem because it just creates another one. No one seems to care though cuz "Troll Kruze Time" creates fun for the jokers of the site and I'm expected to just take all the shit and abuse and ignore everything. Thing is, if I ignore it, it continues. If I defend myself, it gets worse... so I'm continually getting persecuted, ridiculed and provoked. I'm basically damned if I do and damned if I don't, yet if these folks would think about it for half a second, my own post counts would in fact go down if most of that shit stopped, does no one else see that correlation? Cuz I'm absolutely certain that if even 50% of that shit stopped that my post totals would at or around a 9-10 post average and not the 13-14 you see above there. Plus, the 10 day period taken there encompassed Zenith, the GP and the draft, not to mention off-season suggestions which inflated those totals for nearly everyone.

Because everything that is mentioned on this site is only done to fuck Kruze over. Holy narcissism Batman. Anyways, I'll go to 100 posts per point if it helps, but I still think that doing the avg. post count, as I mentioned before, could also work, so I'm down for whatever people are cool with. Note: If my comment is completely away from the discussion it's because I have no interest in partaking in dedicating my time to reading through essays over something that I probably won't care about in the end. So, whatever the cool kids want (which is everyone on this site) I'm down with.

Because everything that is mentioned on this site is only done to fuck Kruze over. Holy narcissism Batman. Yah, you could claim that if I wasn't the only one that was getting affected by this and it didn't look like it was totally targeted directly at me. The thing is that you're actually part of the problem Mike, especially when you make shitty little comments like: Note: If my comment is completely away from the discussion it's because I have no interest in partaking in dedicating my time to reading through essays over something that I probably won't care about in the end. I wouldn't have to write "essays" if you'd just shut your fucking mouth even half the time and stop "interpreting" to folks what I'm saying and leading them to think I'm saying something that I'm not, forcing me to have to explain things further just to correct your mistake in "interpretation". I mean, why don't you just ask for clarification or what I'm meaning if you don't understand something instead of antagonizing the situation further? Is it really that difficult for you?

You're upset at me for saying that you get too upset at thinking everyone on this site does things to spite you? Narcissism.
And your response is more anger at me because I don't invest my time to read what you write only for you to scream at me? Narcissism.
Let's not forget we're only a day removed from my supporting you in another thread and you screaming at me for it. Narcissist.
