so I will add a question.. who is to say when a issue is resolved? because so far i've seen Sandmen say "Issue is resolved when we are still discussing an issue. Then it makes me even more mad because sandmen is washing his hands of it before we can get through the BS and get to the point or the actual resolution where we can agree to disagree and come up with something that is a compromise. Honestly I believe strongly that no one person is right all the time.. and from what I've seen on this site Sandmen and rocketmen can do no wrong. Phoenix can do no right. Some of my ideas are validated but most of the time i'm just lumped in as a "Phoenix follower" and I bitch and complain like he does.. (which is not right) If a thread has a vote on it.. and it's very clear that everyone has voted and a decision has been reached yet people are bitching... then fine lock the thread and we can all move on. BUT if it just comes down to sandmen(since he runs the site)deciding when a thread is done.. then I don't agree a thread should be locked as the people could still be discussing something that sandmen doesn't like. Since it's against his opinion he may decide to lock it..
My suggestion is: do not lock the threads unless it is clear (as per a vote) that a decision has been made.

And yet one of you failed to vote against it... odd.

So either 1 of you didn't vote, or 1 of you changed your mind.

No locking threads. Be a fucking grown up for cristsakes. If you don't want to participate in a discussion that has happened and is still happening for some, then don't fucking participate. Problem solved.
Why would you possibly care if others continue to have a conversation you have no interest in?
POST NEW AND MORE INTERESTING CONTENT if you're insistent on doing more than just ignoring it.

I have a feeling that Ferocity gets it, but also is yelling at everyone for arguing. At the same time, the REAL issue this poll is presenting is the festering problem. There's a difference between a two-way conversation and one-way just arguing for the sake of arguing. That is the real problem.
The real "interesting" content gets buried by that as well.

I got tired of The bitching real fast. I'll be honest it was funny the first couple times I ACTUALLY started paying attention to it but since then it's gotten annoying.

It's a correlation.

It's about this.
1) An issue is presented 2) it is discussed 3) resolutions are brought forth 4) one is decided upon 5) it is drafted into rule
AT THAT POINT, that SPECIFIC ISSUE is resolved. If you think it is still a problem THAT IS A NEW ISSUE AND SHOULD BE BROUGHT UP IN A NEW THREAD.
For me, that is where the cut-off is. After #5. If you want something that is in place changed, start again at number 1 IN A NEW THREAD. Propose a change. Don't continue arguing about a change that was agreed to/decided upon. That is where we get no where.

.. then I don't agree a thread should be locked as the people could still be discussing something that sandmen doesn't like. Since it's against his opinion he may decide to lock it.. It's not about discussing something Sandmen doesn't like, it's about discussing ANYTHING long after the league has moved past it. You guys seem to be missing this whole "Running a site" business. If you want me to not sim anything for 5 whole months while we bicker over issues, ya think the site would last? At a certain point, I want to sim. It is unfair to every single person here if I am not simming just becuase 1 or 2 people disagree with a rule that is in place, or have not agreed on something. It's a sim site. Without simming, its a message board about nothing. Moral: I make rulings SO I CAN FUCKING SIM!

but what you are failing to see... is my comment mentioned you because you have the ability to lock the threads... nobody else does.. thats why i mentioned you. I too would like you to suim.. BUT you cannot just make decisions without discussing them.. that is a fascist dictatorship.. as I said... if you want to post a poll to get peoples opinions and then after everyone has discussed it and all people have posted their votes then fine.. lock the thread.. but you need to listen to people and allow us to have a voice. By ranting and yelling "I make rulings SO I CAN FUCKING SIM!"it doesn't help matters. How long are you willing for us to talk about something you don't like? How long are you willing to talk about something you do like? Are those the same? no!
