The Latest Kruze vs. Sandmen Saga! Okay, so I am starting a single thread for everything related to Phoenix's bitching and moaning about the Sarah D'Alelio capping. For those interested (NO ONE), I'll post a series of quotes that breaks down how this came about. PrologueWhat you need to know going into this story: 1) The cap for women fighters in this league was 78 when this started. 2) Sarah D'Alelio has been at that cap due to Phoenix upgrades for quite a while now. Part 1: The Beginning (April 1, 2014)This was a PM to Phoenix.I wanted to do this over the phone cause we just argue over text, but I don't have the time unfortunately. ManMMA needs some help. You have the experience to make the transitions smoothest, so I am approaching you before posting a job publicly, and giving you a special offer. What ManMMA Needs someone to do:- Point Allocation What ManMMA should have someone do:- N1C history - FiD What I would like ManMMA to have:- Rankings If you are willing to do all of these above things permanently from this point forward, I will give you this special offer: - Women's cap will be moved up to 80 immediately (it's at 78 right now) - no suggestion box route, no red tape, no vote, no politics, no drama - just announced and it's done. Like, as soon as I receive your acceptance of this offer and PA is updated type thing. - After this season (but not including this season), a "salary" of 2 points per season for continuing to do all of the above tasks for each full season you do them. - If you are doing Point allocation, you can give yourself a point per 75 posts as I had originally suggested for the remainder of this season. - For NEXT season, we'll re-evaluate posts per point. I cannot promise you 50, but I can say I will do everything to make sure you stay below 100. So worst case scenario, 75 again, best case, 50. Meaning, you know, everything that was offered above? Yeah, I notice it too. This takes us to... Part 3: The Shady Upgrade Attempt (May 16, 2014)Phoenix posts this in the Point Transaction pageSarah D'Alelio+1 Takedown Defense +3 KO Resistance Wait, WHAT? I thought our agreement, including the cap-raise, was "null and void"? So, to make a clear public ruling on this, I post this final word on the matter: CapsBecause of point 2 above, if we make the change to halved points, I think we'll keep the women's division cap as it stood (78), rather than moving it up to 80, as was previously announced. The purpose of that low cap was to level out the top-heavy women's division, and that is still being worked on now. As we've seen this past half-season, the women's division is still very predictable. We'll re-evaluate this upping of the women's cap in the near future. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is where we are at now, and why Phoenix is childishly polluting the whole site with his rage-ahol. Part 4: Moving ForwardFrom this post onward, this discussion is to be relegated to this thread, and this thread only. ManMMA is tired of having one member pollute the entire site with whining and complaining about the same issue in every single fight. More irrelevance though on your part though... Again, Private conversations are just that, private... and you had already announced to the entire league that the cap was being raised to 80, period. The cap for female fighters is now upped to 80 (from 78). Note the April 11th date there and no mention that it was some "back room deal" that you made, just straight up that the cap was being raised and of course you conveniently left it out of your original post up there because it doesn't support your argument. The shady business in all of this is ALL on you Justin because when someone else has an issue with something that you've done that you claim to have been discussed before, your attitude is "Oh, too bad... you should've said something when we were discussing it a week/month ago so it's too late now." but you refuse to follow that same ideal when you're the one that has an issue with something. You implemented the cap raise without any back story to or anything, you just reveal it later to try and cover your own ass instead of doing what's right, you just do what's right for you. That's not putting the site first, which you preached up and down when I was supposedly staff... this is just your own self serving bullshit to continue your attempts to make my time here miserable and hoping I'll quit. Exactly, the cap being at 80 was for the good of ManMMA... and if you think about it, if I had, had intnentions on recapping D'Alelio, don't you think I would've done it in the month that it was at 80? Of course no one seems to give a shit about it because they don't have capped fighters nor capped fighters that still need improvements when they're losing to mid tier fighters dude. I get that this is somehow fun for you and it's some sort of a joke, but it's not for me...
