Rebel Storm has resigned from ManMMA. As such, his team is being dispersed via an auction.
The Following fighters are now being released via auction.
Barb Honchak (12-15-1) FF
Naho Sugiyama (8-17) FF
Ricardo Arona (2-3) HW
Travis Browne (21-16) HW
Jeremy Stephens (11-14) LW
Roger Huerta (17-14) LW
Tarec Saffiedine (0-4) MW
Dan Henderson (34-31-1) MW
Reminder on how this will work. If you are interested in someone, post a proposed one-for-one trade offering the best fighter you are willing to trade for that Rebel Storm fighter. The team that offers the best one-for-one offer will be able to complete the trade and get the fighter. You may bid several times (like an auction) for the same fighter if you are outbid. Please make a new post though; do not edit your first post.
Traded (thus released) fighters will be available as regular released fighters after the auction period has concluded (and Sandmen has posted the official claims). The A team that releases a player to claim one of Storm's players may not claim that fighter back again for 1 full season (20 ManMMA events).
Nutshell Reminder (of regular auction rules)
- Quality of bid is usually pretty obvious with records in most cases, but with ever-evolving fighters via upgrades and such, we'll probably take season win percentage into account. We're early in the season, so I'll probably include last season as well. If fighters have less than like, 8 fights more factors will be considered as well.
- you may offer any weightclass for any weightclass in this auction (including men for women and women for men)
- You CAN successfully claim more than 1 fighter if no one else puts a claim in on your secondary claim. I.E. If Rocketmen wins Jackson, and no one puts another bid in on either Mendes or Shields but he does, he can take them as well. If other bids are in (even if his secondary bid is better), the other team gets them. If 2 teams have secondary claims on the same fighter, it goes to best bid, and so on, and so on.
- After close, all fighters will be assigned to teams and released fighters will be released. Regular first-come, first-served claim/release procedures then follow.
You may now begin. Auction close time To be determined shortly (based on participation, activity, etc). You'll be notified in due time though, for sure. Early estimation is Friday, August 1st, but I'll let ya know.
