I have healthcare. Along with the rest of my family, and everyone else I know. No, you have INSURANCE. There is a world of difference. Health care is for care. Insurance is for-profit. Wait until you need it and your insurance provider finds a coverage loophole, you will know the difference. When you are on the hook for a full medical bill, you will sure as shit know the difference between Insurance and proper health care.

Now that cost like what 6 grand or less? For cases that costs a lot of money like 100k the insurance company will find any way for them not to pay for it.

1) How much do you pay in insurance? 2) How much was your father's deductible for his back injury?
Those aside, I'm not talking about little things like back injuries. Look into those long list of testimonials for major things. I watched a doc about a dude who had to die slowly and painfully because his insurance company declared his liver problem an undisclosed, pre-existing condition, refused to pay for his hospital bills nor his treatment, so he could not get it. So he died. So. He. Died.
Austin. You only have insurance. So you only have experience with one of the two. I have both health care, and insurance. And I can tell you from having experience with both, heath care is much better than insurance.
And again, you are looking at this as an adversarial thing. It's not. It's about sharing. It's not about us saying we are better. It's about THE WORLD has discovered health care. And it works really well. Much better than health insurance. America is one of the only major first world countries without it. You should want it. You should not be happy with an inferior, profit-driven model of health coverage. That is sad, tragic, and costs people thier lives. It's cute it works for your middle-class father, who has great work-benefits. It doesn't work for low-income people, and it doesn't work for people who cannot afford to fight their insurance company because their life expectancy is months, not years. And it sure as fuck doesn't work for the 45,000 people who die every year due to no coverage.

Why us it that every time one of u retarded Canadians open your mouth there's a knife fight I mean... if there was a fight at all, this certainly isn't going to help.

I prefer that you don't use the word "Americans." I'm sure you don't know enough to call everyone in America that. That'd be like me saying every Canadian says "Ay" at the end of their sentence.

Why is it every time you try to tell an (uneducated) American about a different way to do something, they get defensive and offensive? If you love your country, you should constantly be looking for ways to make it better. It's what America has been doing for hundreds of years. If it wasn't, you would still own slaves.

Hey, I am biased because I live in America, and it's the country that I love, but I do think we should have better health care coverage.

That'd be like me saying every Canadian says "Ay" at the end of their sentence. We literally do. Every. Single. Canadian. No exceptions.

Hey, I am biased because I live in America, and it's the country that I love, but I do think we should have better health care coverage. Being biased does not mean you have to love stagnation. You should be waking up every morning saying, "America! FUCK YEAH! How can we be better today than we were yesterday, and now let's fucking do that!" Once you become complacent, you stagnate. When you stagnate, others pass you by. Everyone should try to improve and progress. I don't think anyone thinks their country is perfect. Meaning every country on the planet (including America) has room to improve. Embrace that and be part of the improvement as you grow older. Don't sit there and be like, "Nah, we're fuckin' perfect, love it or leave it." As I said above, if the majority of you guys did that 150 years ago, slavery would still be alive and well in America*. *In order to sleep at night, I have to add that slavery is still very alive and well in America, but it's through systemic repression, and it is not something I expect you guys to understand yet. Hopefully you keep evolving, grow your minds, learn about the world, and the others around you, and you will get there. But again, that's not a discussion for high schoolers yet. So don't worry about that part.
