This is dumb that in the second round you can put team gap against team gap. If possible you should have team vs team. Because no matter who wins my chances of winning this tourney drastically go down. Right now i have half the chance that rocketmen has to win. After this round ill have quarter of the chance rocketmen does. I refuse to pick a fight where a team goes against themselves unless there is no other option. Killing joke shouldnt be fighting himself either

Killing joke shouldnt be fighting himself either 1) For every fight that you fight yourself, the opposing coach also fights himself. So it balances out. 2) It also guarantees one of your fighters a spot in the next round. Fighting the opposing coach does not. Though I agree with you in principle, (and think it would make a more interesting second-round to stick with non-in-fighting), when you break everything down to mechanics and look at how the tournament plays out, it makes no difference in the end.

All that being said, I don't care that much about NXT. It's a minor bonus feature of ManMMA, which is a bunch of extra work I have volunteered to do to give people a glance at the overlooked fighters in the draft pool.
If 80% of the coaches agree with you, we can force "team vs. team" in second-round fights. But since it took me about 4 days to get these fights, I won't be delaying ManMMA sims anymore for NXT. This means it is absolutely, entirely possible that this NXT season will carry over into next season (meaning no NXT fighters would be available in this draft). Though that is not my goal, realistically at the rate things are moving, and the pacing that needs to be maintained to keep NXT and ManMMA on track to finish together, it is a very real possibility.

I couldn't disagree with you more. Yes it does guarentee me a fighter in the next round. But what if both of my fighters fought rocketmen and win. Then id have 2 fighters in the next round. Not just 1. By pitting teams against themselves it decreases chance. This site because its based on a simulator it is based on chance. By decreasing chance you are crippling teams. It does matter. I would prefer to fight rocketmen twice and possibly be eliminated than to fight myself. Please change this.

Not just 1. Or they both lose, and you are out in the second round entirely. It goes both ways. But also, let me reiterate this: All that being said, I don't care that much about NXT. Fair enough.
Do others agree?
Toss in the new rule, request new fights from people (including the person that never got back to me in the first place 4+ days later) and take on the 15-20% risk ManNXT goes another ManMMA season and none of these fighters are available in the draft this year? I mean, it's a low risk, but it is a possibility I want people to be aware of. ManMMA is my top priority and its already going slower than I would like it to.

I dont get what your trying to say here. I cannot finish ManMMA until this ManNXT/ManTUF tournament is finished. I have to finish ManNXT so that those fighters are available in the draft. It has taken me several days to get fights from some people. I need 2 new fights if we bring in this new rule. That could take several more days. I am not willing to keep making ManMMA events wait, so I will be moving forward on ManMMA events, instead of waiting for ManNXT events. If NXT falls too far behind, ManMMA will end before ManNXT, and ManNXT will finish next ManMMA season instead of this ManMMA season.

There is a problem with that. That means no draft.

I dont see a problem with that. NXT is supposed to be our ManMMA draft pool. If ManNXT is not finished in time for the draft, then they cannot be included in the draft pool.
