Beavis and Butthead isn't really that funny to me. Because you need to appreciate satire. Neither of you seem like satire people.

When my brother and I watched Beavis and Butthead do America the first time, we went and visited my grandparents. Brandon, as like a 10 year old, proceeded to pull his shirt to the top of his head and recite the TP quote to my grandmother. My grandfather laughed his ass off while my grandmother was confused and insulted. One of the better memories of my grandfather right there.

I really enjoyed Anchorman BUT I work with people who are like 8 years younger than me and all one of them does is quote Will Ferrell and he's a total douchebag, so that kind of shows the audience that loves that shit. I don't run around quoting the shit out of those movies. I quote my own! In hindsight, that may still make me a douchebag lol People also talk too much about movies. They hype the fuck out of anything new, as the general experience for movie-goers is to enjoy whatever the fuck they paid to see because they paid to see it and dammit they don't want to have wasted that money. The following movies were hyped so much that people quoted everything funny in the movie thus making it completely un-funny by the time I watched it: 1. American Pie 2 2. The Hangover 3. Tropic Thunder 4. Step Brothers 5. 40 Year Old Virgin I agree with everything about your list except # 4 and 5.

I have LMFAOed at Beavis and Butthead before.
Community is also a great show I LOLed at and forgot to mention. None of the Will Ferrell movies mentioned have caused me to LOL. Or even lol. Just smiles, grins, smirks and mild, mild chuckles.

Scrubs was great!
Will Ferrell > anything Beavis and Butthead
I like satire... but it doesn't do anything for me... i have the "DO America" movie... and i watched it, and i didn't laugh once. Turned it off about half way

Will Farrell comedy is for people who like stupid humour, like fart jokes. Beavis and Butthead is for people who like laughing at the above-mentioned simpletons.

If you laugh WITH them, then I am concerned for you. And I missed the stuff about Scrubs before. Scrubs was great indeed. I loved that it was stupid-comedy, but then it would blind-side you with something serious and make you cry. Great stuff.
