If this is coming, maybe we should not approve any new fighters for the upcoming draft, so that guys like Ngannou and Otega are looked at for potential additions for the next NXT season? The Sandmen The Texas Rattlesnakes ? |

I think it'd be interesting to see how they stack up in an NXT match, but the fighters in NXT are the ones that will be in the draft, so I'm not sure what you mean by not approving any new fighters for the draft. |

I'm still confused though... the NXT tournament gets done right before the draft... then the fighters go into the draft. |

Mike is basically saying you took so damned long to do NXT that he thought you were prepping it for next season. Not that you were trying to cram it into the last half awkwardly in this season.

That. Usually NXT takes like 15 ManMMA cards to accomplish, so I thought this was being set up for next season, and running it intermittently during that season. If you planned on doing an entire NXT season before the upcoming draft, then by all means. But while we're establishing coaches, we also need to establish the fighter lists for available guys. Might as well get that all done in one shot and if there's limited coaches, then let's double up some divisions.
I'd be game to manage more than one division. Don't care which weight class.
