Hello everyone, we here at The Texas Rattlesnakes are going to start documenting exciting things that happen at our gym based in Western Michigan. This is the first episode! Enjoy!
Jessica Andrade: Jessica had a pretty productive day today. She worked a lot on her takedowns and submissions. She's always looking forward to her next fight.
Sarah Kaufman: Unfortunately, Sarah didn't show up to practice today. Or any other day this week. She let the gym know she was taking some personal time, and I think she's upset with her loss against Nunes, and all the talk about her being traded.
Rose Namajunas: Rose spent the day competing with fellow teammate, Karolina Kowalkiewicz. They sparred a litte, and did other competitive exercises to determine who the more dominant Flyweight is on the team.
Karolina Kowalkiewicz: When she finished competing with Thug Rose, she spent a lot of time jump roping. We aren't sure why, but that's what she did.
Fabricio Werdum: Fabricio worked on his submissions, and threw a boomerang around the room. It was pretty dangerous, and has staff concerned he might injure a teammate.
Cain Velasquez: Cain spent his time helping Forrest Griffin pack up to leave. Forrest was here long enough to unpack some things, but once again he'll be moving to a new gym.
Max Holloway: Max went for a jog to start the day, and disappeared for a while. When he got back we asked where he had been, and he just responded with, "it is what it is." Staff isn't very happy with him at the moment.
Edson Barboza: Edson just stood in the corner kicking shit. That's his usual routine. He walks around and kicks as much shit as possible. It makes him feel good because he tends to fail at kicking in his actual fights.
Cody Garbrandt: Cody spent time doing several different things. He was looking at the one title in his trophy case, and the other half was spent making sure his hair was "on fleek" and punching shit.
Anthony Johnson: Anthony seems to think he is staff for some reason. He keeps walking around and yelling at his teammates and telling them to get focused. Yet, Johnson just conditions most of the time.
Rafael dos Anjos: dos Anjos spends his time sitting in the corner and observing. It freaks us out, and we don't have the balls to confront him about it.
Nick Diaz: Nick has been very frustrated lately, and he's constantly disappearing for smoke brakes. And I'm not talking about cigarettes. The guy really needs to....
Karolina what the fuck are you doing? Quit doing jump rope!
