It was just announced that Lyoto Machida signed a multi-fight contract with Bellator, so that leaves the question on whether or not Bellator is just a place where legends go or not. What I mean by that, is it doesnt seem like they have fighters that start there, a lot of their big names got their start in a different promotion, but I look forward to seeing Machida fight in Bellator.

Me too. Maybe they'll immediately go with him against the winner of Gegard/Rory, who knows. They do wacky things, but I'm excited for him regardless. Maybe I'll dust off my old The Dragon Machida t-shirt from 2008.

Always like some Justin Wren Karitonov, Fedor, Liam McGeary Alexander Shlemenko Koreshkov, Lima, Chandler, RIckles, Awad, Friere, Just to name a couple older guys off the top of my head. And to meet your arbitrary weight quota, i didn't go under 145 either, despite there being many (men and women) there and below. Also, other experts feel the same, so its not just Justin's anti-UFC rhetoric here either: |
