Oh, nevermind. PHX wants shootouts. Not really no... I'd rather see a winner. Thing is that, albeit rare (as are draws themselves), this unfortunately isn't the first time that it's happened in a tournament, and likely won't be the last either. I also, quite frankly, don't appreciate you making assumptions about what I do or don't want based on something completely unrelated to the discussion at hand, simply because I don't agree with you.

I just didn't see any other alternative other than to let the fight go forever until one dies.

I just hope it doesn't hold up future tourneys by having to re-fight this one.

Just that we only do that for championship fights not the tourneys. For clarification, we stopped doing that for title fights as well. Title fights are 10 rounds, and could, in theory, still go to a decision. The only way to do unlimited rounds in the program is to eliminate rounds (meaning no round-breaks) which changed the dynamic of fights too drastically and could lead to a literal death.

Fair enough... Just 10 rounds is virtually unlimited since we've rarely seen a title fight go past 8, I believe, is what I mean.

Was Jordan Mein talked about somewhere else other than this thread? I'm still not sure his relevance to anything, but felt like making a pun off your comment. No worries.
