I'd just like to point out that Anthony Johnsons is four defenses away from being the longest reigning MW champ in the site's history. Currently at 8, he needs 8 more to pass Wanderlei Silva and Anderson Silva's record of 15. He's beaten the likes of Lyoto Machida, Robbie Lawler, Cung Le, and Rich Franklin, and he challenges Wanderlei Silva, Anderson Silva, and anyone else to come and earn a titleshot and try to dethrone him. Maybe then you wont be so foolish to call him a pup. Pup in the sense he's been here a short amount of time comparatively... and Sandman's initial build of him didn't seem all that realistic either, even before he upgraded him. lol But it was like JJ though, and during that time period too. All of fresh new builds were disgustingly good right out of the gate at that time... and I highly doubt anyone with any sort of MMA knowledge would consider Johnson a GOAT IRL... Not yet anyways. 😂

He's still pretty new compared to a lot of guys

He's still pretty new compared to a lot of guys And he's accomplished a lot more in that short of time. Hell, I'll agree Garbrandt is a pup, but who else won a title in their rookie season, not counting the first season and when new belts were introduced.

Johnson just shouldn't have been as good as he was off his original build; neither should've JJ for that matter... She hadn't even won the belt IRL yet when she was built here.

It's interesting to me how readily the word "should" gets thrown around here. The whole premise of this site is we didn't know who would win between i.e. Fedor vs. Brock, or Anderson vs. GSP. Not to mention, it's always the teams who are less successful who think they know what "should" happen. If you know what "should" happen, you would likely have more success.
Stop "should"ing the site to death. There is no damned "should".

I wish guys would stop overdoing it all and just go with the flow and enjoy the site and their fighters and stop saying things like "easy for you to say you always make gp and have belts" like gtfo I been top, bottom, and titles. I done it all, and I donate as much as any one. theres no excuse for your success or failure other than you. fuckin period. Period period period. take responsibility for your own success and failure. not just your success period. fucking period. PERIOD PERIOD PEROD!!!!
