Yeah, I think we have to count that, even though it was not the reason for the finish. The program is pretty clear and confident about it. That and his small eye cut. Those small eye cuts are murder.

I'm curious though as to how many fights we may have missed a potential injury because it didn't list it as the end of the fight? If we missed them before do we count this or only when the system refers to it as the reason the fight ended?

I did a quick search over last 45 days and nothing else like this has happened. I'll go deeper to get a more well-rounded opinion.

If you break an arm, then get knocked out, you still broke your arm. Just because the fight was stopped for a different reason does not mean the injury did not happen.

Yeah, I really didn't mean to start anything from this, I was just reading it and was surprised it mentioned it at the end of the fight and then not in the result. And apparently this does happen from time to time and is something we'll have to keep our eye out on.

Yeah, an injury is an injury and keeps things interesting and unpredictable around here. We want those included for sure.
