In a nutshell, bid the absolute best fighter on your team that you are willing to give up for the fighter that you want. I don't want to hear any more, "If I had have known...I would have bid...." bullshit. BID. YOUR. BEST.
I also want to see real bids for these guys. If the bids suck, I am reserving the right in this auction to either move guys who did not get their value into the draft, or allow their former teams to bid on them to try to increase the free agent value coming back. Sitting champions will not be acquired for 0-4 rookie scrubs. BID. YOUR. BEST.
Also, depending on how this round goes, I might NHL-style the draft (draft lottery). So don't assume anything (like that you can just get your bid fighter in the draft since you have first pick, etc). Don't assume anything.
