@ The Sandmen: You haven't spoken to me at all about Lesnar nor really anything pertaining to the debacle at all other than trying to get GAP to "mediate". This is the first I've heard about any of this. That being said, I personally can't speak for Sandman, but for my own part in what happened, I apologize the members of ManMMA for having been a part of that shit show. I did say in that thread that I did not want it to be a big deal, and I truly didn't. Unfortunately for all you guys, it turned into what it did because neither myself, nor Justin for that matter, know when to just shut the fuck up when we have a disagreement about something. It turns into a "No, you... No, you." argument, and ends up being a wasted effort because we're both stubborn, we both believe we're right, and we both rarely back down; which is stupid, on both of our parts. Our own paranoias and distrust for each other ends up getting us into messes like that, more often than not, and that's not fair to the site or members here. Sandman and I both care about ManMMA, despite having VERY different views on many aspects of what happens around here, and that does spill over sometimes. For my end of it, I was confused about ManMMA rankings vs. Letter rankings on fighters and how the auction was being weighted, which is why I voiced it after the first auction. I tried to explain that, and it got contrued as me saying Sandman was cheating, which wasn't the intent, but apparently that's how it came across and what it turned into cuz here we are now, and I'm just as culpable as Sandman is for allowing it to get to that to that point and letting it snowball out of control. There's no excuse for that when we're both intelligent and, usually, rational adults. |

If you read the post where I outlined this process, you would know this thing you keep focussing on about a fighter's rank and skill is only part of the equation. Rank and Skill only part of how the auctions were weighted. Literally explained. In a thread. That explained exactly how it worked. No it's cuz I was held at ransom this entire auction... The only way I got GSP was if I bid JMac so he could be filtered out. And here again, I didn't bid Kedzie, Davis or D'Alelio ( so she could be filtered out), I lose out even though I made the better bid with Modafferi over Toughill. Pretty shitty. Kruze says he was at ransom - suggests Sandmen wanted to delete his fighters. Never has been this ever been stated. Literally every single word of this is complete Kruze conspiracy theory fabrication. If you think otherwise, you either have not read how the auctions work, or you have special happening inside your head. I will say this LOUD, PUBLICLY, AND CLEAR: IF I WANTED ANYONE FROM YOUR TEAM "FILTERED OUT" I WOULD JUST REMOVE THEM. PERIOD.Justin literally says he won't do that, right in front of the entire site. You're literally full of shit. More name calling by Kruze. To this point, all that has happened is: Justin explained how the auctions worked (in another thread it's in plain detail) Kruze accuses and yells because he lost.
I genuinely dont know how you lost that one, but maybe it's cuz Kedzie and Davis would have been better bids. D'Alelio would have hurt his bid, Kedzie or Davis would have helped some, but not guarenteed anything. A top tier fighter like Brock, Sylvia, or Cruz would have helped him a lot, but I still do not know if that would have given him the edge over Ducks. Justin explains how each potential bid would have impacted Kruze's chances to win, while not having any guarantee. Reminds that Ducks also lost and had the best chance by literally double than anyone else. I think I might void Phoenix's bid on Barboza if this keeps up. Or possibly fine him a draft pick. Because honestly. After spending (without exaggeration) 3+ hours on this auction, having ANOTHER whining bitch-fest is not really something I care to put up with. We'll see how it goes, and how I feel throughout. Justin is frustrated that someone so exciting has gone down the road of accusations of malicious intent and name calling. Never calls Kruze a name or accuses anything of Kruze. To be clear, I don't mind questions, confusion, disappointment.
