Well.. Pretty sure I can speak Cannonese by now.. (Lies) lol But I think Normand is saying Rousey deserves a tourney bid, and I'll concede... Rousey may not have actually beat Jules in the last one, but she sure did in this one. Give the DNB a tourney fight... She actually earned it. Is that a yes to team vs team? Not starting anything up, but the team vs. team was proposed and never got a reply, so "let this die" doesn't really fit since it was still awaiting a response to that point.
That's like me going into Blockbuster, asking clerk if they had a copy of Con Air in stock, and he leaves to check and then 4 days later he comes back, and someone else asks "did you have Con Air?!" and the clerk gives them attitude for asking lol

Not starting anything up, but the team vs. team was proposed and never got a reply, so "let this die" doesn't really fit since it was still awaiting a response to that point. That being said though... Phoenix FC has never really backed down from a straight up team vs. team challenge, no matter what the odds of us winning were. If it's a straight up challenge, not problem... I just wasn't wanting to open up an old worms and cause more problem than it's worth. |

And with the shit season my team's currently having already, I'm certain that those would be too steep for me at this point, nor would Sandman like or endorse what I'd want, should I win... Which has never happened in these challenges, but still... I think it'd be more poignant to do it next season or at least after this Lesnar BS is taken care of (after Dec. 3rd), so that there's no extra BS piled on top of it. There's just too many sour grapes floating around for it to be any fun right now; both with me and the rest of the league in general IMO. Best to wait til things have settled out more before taking this on and making things worse, not better. |

If you guys wanted to do a "Battle of the Bottoms", you could still do it this season, you could still do it this season, but we would stagger it throughout the rest of the season (which I was going to have to do anyway). You guys could agree on the matches, and basically PHX's most ready fighters would fight sooner, then his least-ready fighters (like Brock) could come back and fight in later cards. Still a 10v10, but over 5-7 cards.
"Battle of the Bottoms" means nothing next season, when standings reset, etc. Hell, it might be meaningless after 1-2 more cards. Standings can change quickly.
