IN ORDER OF OCCURRENCE IN THE STORY:*Albert analyzes the pictures hoping to trigger his ability* The Rocketmen /DM Albert takes a hard look at the figurines and sees hands moving them to specific locations, facing specific directions, in a specific order. He cannot determine whose hands they are, and it seems to be in a location he has never seen before. Someplace that does not look anything like the ship or the beach. *Tim leaps back into the water. He attempts to dive down and sever the flickering tissue.* Tim takes a deep breath and swims back down to the bottom of the ship. Carl: *is in a daze and has no idea wtf is going on, lets out a blood curdling scream alerting any animals near by to help with the situation tht is conspiring* Carl is able to call forth animals, and while he expects there to be a rumbling from the surrounding trees and an explosion of support, he doesn't seen anything happen. "What the qu'est ce que fuck?" Carl says. He does hear something. Off to the side, in the ocean, there is a flurry of splashes, tiny ones, off in the distance. Carl places his hand over his forehead to block the sun and improve his vision. He watched as the circle of splashes grew closer and closer to the ship, before seemingly fading away. "Well that was weird," said Carl. Carl: *jumps at mystery dude and attempts to get into full mount and tear out his throat* Carl shrugs his shoulders, believing his ability has provided nothing useful, and leaps at the corpse-creature. In Carl's mind, he expected he would be able to put the creature down, "Full mount!" as he shouted. But instead, the creature slapped Carl in mid air, sending him face first into the sand. Shaken, but not deterred, Carl regained his footing, and said "I'm going to tear out your thr-" as Carl tried to finish his threat, the corpse-creature slapped its nail-board into his leg, shoving a nail deep through his calf, and then raised him into the air. Carl is now held upside down by the one good arm the corpse-creature has left. *Tim leaps back into the water. He attempts to dive down and sever the flickering tissue.* As Tim draws near the eye, its green glow continues to pulsate and fade. The eye looks at him, and to Tim's realization, it looks pathetic, almost sad in a way. Tim shakes the thought from his mind, and retrieves his gauntlet blade. He reaches back, and it seems the eye has accepted its fate. But just as Tim is about to pull his arm forward for a blow into ship's eye, he feels movement at his feet, then his legs, then his torso and finally all around him. It was fish. All types of aquatic colors dancing around him, swatting at him with their finds. Tim pulled his arms up to protect his face, but soon the attack was over. Tim pulled his arms down to see the fish casually swimming in circles around the glowing eye. Tim looked to his gauntlet and slowly brought the blade closer to the eye, and the fish became furious again. He pulled the blade away and they went back to casually swimming circles around the eye. Tim resurfaces for air.

 Summary / Last Time on Monastery Here is the summary of where things stand for today (these events run from page 6 to 10): 1. Milkmire has his documents securely on his person, signed by Oliver. 2. Tim has learned the ship has green muscle tissue that runs throughout the ship, but there is red muscle tissue that is connected from the bow of the ship to the corpse-creature. The red muscle tissue is sucking the life out of the green aspect of the ship to stay alive. 3. Jif tried to attack the monster, but with no other help, he was beaten down. 4. Bixby has cut half the arm off the corpse-creature, but is thrown against a cannonball for his efforts and has vision only out of one eye due to swelling. 5. After the monster was injured, Jif's enhanced hearing is affected by the corpse-monster's scream. 6. Albert has been giving documents of a sketch of figurines from Oliver, and sees it is important, but likely not useful for now. 7. Carl calls for animal help, and fish surround Tim, blocking him from trying to attack the glowing green eye and green muscle tissue of the ship. This is the second time Tim is blocked from harming the green aspect of the ship. |

*Oliver notices the blade in the sand that was dropped by Bixby. He attempts to crawl over to it.* The Rocketmen/DM Oliver crawls over to the blade and collects it. He is just a few feet away from the corpse-creature, who has Carl hanging over his head. The corpse-creature sees Oliver with the blade and is turning his attention toward him. Oliver: Yer the one sayin you were dyin and goin blind! At least help me foot, ya? Please? bixby: I never said that... but sure lets do some healing. ooc: Bixby will heal Oliver. then Bixby will heal himself Bixby, still tired, but recovering from bringing the corpse-creature and the ship back to life, attempts to heal Oliver, but Oliver has moved away. Bixby has to look around to overcome his vision to see where he's gone. When Bixby notices Oliver is now back in harms way with the corpse-creature, he decides to instead use what energy he has left to heal his vision. Oliver will have to wait for now. Ability Triggered.Bixby begins to heal his head/eye. |

Bixby is thrown from the corpse-monster, where he hits his head against the cannonball and is bleeding. He has dropped the blade. His vision, due to a mouse that is quickly developing over his left eye, is worsening by the second. DM: During the chaos, the monster has ignore Jif's shenanigans and has now turned his attention to Bixby and Oliver. ^ |
