Milkmire: Jiff, have you been struck by a seagull, or are you expressing to me that you have seen a seagull in comic fashion? I do not understand you, good sir. But while we;re talking, how would you like to jot your name down on some documents I have in my pocket?

DM: Jif, casually considering his options, is warned that there are seagulls. He can hear them, but not well enough to dodge one that dive bombed his head. Jif was struck and is bleeding, and is winking out the blood that is streaming down his face. He has no idea where the bird came from, but at this point he can only assume this is somehow all Carl's fault. The bleeding won't last long. Tis' merely a flesh wound. DM: Jif searches through the brush to try and find the small blade that landed somewhere nearby. He locates it, picks it up, dazzles a bit to show off to the others, pulls back and launches the blade. The seagull. The same god damn bird that attacked his head flew into the line of the knife-throw and decintegrated upon impact. The knife landed safely in the beach sand. The bird did not. Jif looks around and backs away slowly. Milkmire: Jiff, have you been struck by a seagull, or are you expressing to me that you have seen a seagull in comic fashion? I do not understand you, good sir. But while we;re talking, how would you like to jot your name down on some documents I have in my pocket? ?? DM: Jif is willing to sign Milkmire's documents, but cannot locate a writing utensil. Oliver, to Milkmire: I reckon the fella needs a writin' tool. DM: Oliver is correct. For once in his life, he was right about something. *Tim somersaults backwards in an attempt to avoid the swing. He is now on the defensive, but looks for an opening to attack with the blade again.* DM: In an attempt, Tim attempts to summersault, but the attempt didn't go as smoothly as he hoped. While he did attempt the summersault, he didn't roll far enough away, and the monster's attempt at swinging at him was successful - weak, but successful. Tim is bruised on his left abdomen. He holds his chest and prepares for another attack. Bixby trys to knock the dead guy to the ground hindering it movements so a proper strike can land. DM: Bixby, though he is so devastatingly hungry right now, runs, wait, scuttles to behind the monster and thinks of pushing him over, but instead, he drops to his hands and knees. Oliver wanders around asking people to help him. He asks for Bixby to help him, but Bixby is crouched behind the monster. "Uh, little busy don't ya think?" says Bixby. Oliver pouts. Tim sees the opening. He rushes forward, the monster swings and Tim blocks it, using his blade, and slices off the monster's hand. He delivers a shoulder blow to the chest of the creature, sending rotted flesh splattering all around him. One piece landing directly on Jif's face, some other parts landing on Milkmire's boots. The moster stumbles backwards and is tripped over Bixby's rolly-polly crouch. Carl: *yells at the fishys for not doing nothin* DM: Carl yells at the fish. Tim: "Everyone dog pile the bastard while his attention is on me! We can finish this here and now!" *If everyone jumps the monster, Tim attempts to stab it in the head.* Bixby jumps onto the monster hoping that others will join in. DM: The monster writhes around, trying to stop being pinned down by Bixby's extreme weight and Tim's efforts. More assistance would be needed to prevent the corpse-creature from standing back up.

Summary / Last Time on Monastery Here is the summary of where things stand for today (these events run from page 10 to 12): 1. Oliver retrives one of Tim's gauntlet blades. 2. Bixby recovers a portion of his vision and head wound. 3. Oliver throws the blade, which severs a board from the corpse-creature's arm. It only has one board arm left. 4. Albert distracts the corpse-creature. 5. Oliver tries to get out of harms way, but Milkmire yells and draws attention from the corpse-creature back to Oliver. 6. Tim attacks the monster, it drops Carl and tries to retaliate. 7. Jif is attacked by a seagull, and then he finds the gauntlet Oliver previously threw. He picks it up, throws it and accidentally kills the seagull. 8. Milkmire convinces Jif to sign his documents, but they require a writing utensil. 9. Tim is hit by the corpse-creature, but with the help of Bixby, they trip the monster over and jump on top of it.
