DM: Bixby takes the rope and ensures that it is fixed rightly to the platform, and makes a quick judgment if it can hold his weight. After taking into consideration his extreme girth for his size, he decides he somehow has the upper body strength to slowly descend to the bottom of the pit.

Unable to see far enough, he spits some of the gold flakes out of his mouth, and then slowly fall like tiny, glowing feathers, illuminating the scene below. He can see the boat, he can see the murky floor, and something next to the boat, half sunken into the muddy bottom, seems to be shining.

DM: Bixby begins to lower down the rope like a superb looking person that is overweight and trying to go down a rope in, theoretically, tight clothing. Above, he hears a noise, and seeing JIF diving down, he panics and grabs at anything in the wall to keep himself up.

Jif, meanwhile, in perfect form, accidentally catches the rope and glides through the air with grace.

DM: Bixby successfully climbs down, and rolls Oliver's lifeless body out of the way. By touching him, he's activated his ability and brought Oliver back to life.

Oliver cannot speak properly because his jaw is very clearly broken. No. Not broken. It's shattered and a jiggly mess hanging from his face.

Bixby sees the shiny object wedged in the ground.
