Season 24 Draft

[The Sandmen]

Important Remembers:
- this season the person drafting first has their usual pick (or points), AND they get to pick the weightclass the SuperFight belt is fought in next season (so when you draft, also name your belt-challenger)
- if you plan on taking a point with your pick(s), you can (and should) draft any time, you do not need to wait until you are up to take points.

5. The Hidden Dragons - Israel Adesanya, Point (drops Gastellum, challenges with Brian Ortega)
6. Sons of Anarchy - Tara LaRosa (challenges with Dominick Cruz )
7. The Mighty Ducks - Point (challenges with Joachim Hansen)
8. Team GAP - Point
9. The Rocketmen - Roger Huerta (drops Gunnar Nelson), Point
10. Canadian Bulldozers - Point (challenges with Gilbert Melendez)
11. The Rocketmen (via The Texas Rattlesnakes) - Pat Curran (drops Sara McMann), Point

Also Remember:
- this season the person drafting first has their usual pick (or points), AND they get to pick the weightclass the SuperFight belt is fought in next season (so when you draft, also name your belt-challenger)
- Every other pick, remember to name your challenger (in the weightclass chosen by the first pick) if you want to fight for the SuperFight belt this upcoming season.
- as always, first overall pick is worth 2 points. All others worth 1.
- I would strongly encourage everyone to stick to no more than 18 fighters total. Anything more is excessive, and will probably hurt your team in the long run.
- If you swap a fighter, you get your point, as well as your pick.
- if you only take a fighter, you do not get your draft point as well.


Example, then.

For first overall pick, I draft Maurice Smith, drop Masakatsu Funaki, and the Superfight belt will be fought at Middleweight, with Johnny Walker challenging.

For second overall pick, I draft Tyson Griffin, drop Dennis Siver, and challenge with Georges St-Pierre.

And so on. Questions, leave 'em below. First time we have done all this in a draft, so fingers crossed she goes smoothly.

The SF belt has basically been a secondary heavyweight belt forever. This is your chance to look at your team at someone who isn't a champ but is good and you going "I think they could win a SF belt" and then whatever weight class that fighter is becomes the SF weight class for the full season

Okay so if McGregor isn't a champ, him. If he is, then Mayhem Miller

McGregor is a LW, so the SuperFight belt will be held at LW this season. Any subsequent challenges for the Lightweight SuperFight title can be posted with your draft picks.

The Rocketmen can pick a LW to challenge Conor with, and The Hale Storm is up in the draft (and can also issue a LW challenge).
