I was leaning towards NDP as well but Singh posted in 2017 praising what Fidel Castro did in Cuba and he also is banned from India because they think he’s a terrorist. So yeah, Liberals for me. So fuck that guy, but let's celebrate a guy literally breaking the law for conflict of interest who is currently in power AND is a fun racist? #Liberals

it really doesnt matter who you vore for.
1) if liberals win... then liberals win. 2) if ndp wins... itll be a miracle 3) if green or ppc or pq win ... well its impossible fof them to win. 4) if conservatives win then a liberal/ndp coalition makes liberals win..
so whoever you vote for liberals win.
so vote for who you like cause then at least your helping that party have more seats. even if that party loses. they have said that in this election there will be no majority win. only a minority win.

If nothing else, Trudeau has demonstrated he will not just passively sit by and/or actively suck off Trump. I do not trust Sheer will do the same. And being a dual-citizen does not help my concerns. Just as with his breaking of the law, I feel Trudeau does things that he really believes benefit the country. With more and more fucked up regressive leaders popping up, like clowns like Boris Johnson, I think it's important to have someone who is not a mindless, cardboard puppet in office.
I also think the blackface thing is ridiculous. There are still people, adults, who call others "fags", or call things they don't like "gay". Trudeau's blackface was around 20 years ago. That;s pre-9/11 times for Christ's sake. To say the world (as well as our social conciousness) were in a totally different place is an understatement. If we want to punish people for shit like that they made 20 years ago, let's not forget to ban Kevin Smith movies (Chasing Amy shows that we can fix gay people if they just meet the right person). And let's not forget to blacklist Robert Downey Jr. (He blackfaced more recently than Trudeau - so long Iron Man!). We should also burn every film made before about 1970, since those are full of things we now know are racist, sexist, and every other "ist" you can think of.
Really, you are either moving forward, or moving backwards. By definition, conservativism is saying the shit we used to do is worth holding onto. Our views on LGBTQ community, our views on reproductive rights and human autonomy, etc. Being progressive is about acknowledging what was bad in our past, learning from it, and correcting our behaviours accordingly. Everything about Trudeau's present indicates he has done that.
I would rather a guy who dressed up in costumes a couple decades ago and now knows that is a bad thing over the guy who now, in 2019, believes marriage is strictly between a man and a woman and that a fetal nucleus has more right to bodily autonomy than a fully grown woman does.

Couldn’t have said it better myself Justin.
I absolutely hate Trudeau but at the end of the day I think Scheer will destroy this country.

Do you guys think voting should be compulsory, like a civic duty type thing? In Australia, t hey basically have parties, with " freshly barbecued "democracy" sausages and vendors sell handmade treats for charity while they exercise their democratic right". Also, because lots of people will have to bring their kids with them, there are things like ""a bouncy castle and ponies ... you could ride ponies"" apparently. Different, and interesting.

Hahahaha Maxime Bernier has lost his seat hahahah. He had the seat locked down since 2006 as a Conservative. I kinda feel bad for the guy. Not that I agree with his philosophies or platform, but at least the PPC is straight up, no BS, this is us, and don't play dirty politics. As a former Reformer, and if I still leaned to the right, it's the only proper conservative party that has any ethics & principles as opposed to the abomination the CPC is, and has been since Harper & the full merger with the CAP. It's pretty sad.

It's pretty sad. It's easy to be straight-up when your whole policy is "We are anti-political correctness libertarians who give no fucks what anyone thinks", as a precursor to being abject assholes. Repealing discrimination laws and multiculturalism, and immigration, as well as inexplicably withdrawing from the Paris Accord, veiled racist immigration preferences ( check out their policy on giving immigration priority to persecuted individuals - then read their opinion that Christians are the most persecuted people on the planet...) Yeah, Canada decided NOT to be blinded by the plastic veil of sheep-cum he tried to spread all over our eyes. I am glad as fuck his party has no representation, and pretty embarrassed we even gave him a platform to spew his borderline-racist bullshit. The whole "We are not politically correct" is just another way of saying, "I'm not a racist, but..." before saying something shockingly racist. And their ENTIRE fucking platform is all about various ways in which Canada needs to "Make Canada Great (white) Again". It's fucking pathetic.
