*I am making what could be a controversial ruling here, but here's why: The SPIRIT of predictions has been, and always will be, rewarding the team with the MOST correct predictions with a point. Since the 3 teams tied with 10/13, and ALL of those teams predicted, changed, or confirmed those picks after the Miller fight was changed, I am going to declare Ramrod the sole winner here, with 11/14. Cannon and PHX got 10/14, since both did make an updated prediction on that fight. No one else was affected in any meaningful way by the change.

I'm not understanding... if we all got 10 of 13, predicted, changed, or confirmed those picks after the Miller fight was changed, then why don't we all get the points? If Ramrod hadn't changed his, then that would make sense... Are you that pissy at me an Cannon that you have to rob us of our points? Like wtf?

I think he means because the fight changed from Miller to Florian and all of you picked Florian. I picked Brookins. It was a last minute change so he wasn't going to count the fight but the everyone updated their pick so he counted it.

All 3 of you predicted on the updated Brookins-Florian fight. Only 1 of you got it right. So one of you was more correct than the other. So he got the predictor point for having 11/14, rather than 10/14

This is robbery. I want my point. I earned it. If Ramrod hadn't touched his predictions, then that's different, but we all did. It doesn't make him more right. We shouldn't get penalized because you had to change a fight. That's not fair at all. |

If I score your fights out of 13, you are tied. 10/13.
BUT, since all 3 of you rated the Brookins/Florian fight (the 14th fight), I took that into account. When we do that, Ramrod gets 11/14, and Cannon and Phoenix get 10/14

makes sense to me. I think the 'spirit' of the points (as Sandman said) is to go the best predictor, however it came about.

Seriously - I didn't realize we were that stupid around here that I had to do a shit load of extra work to make you understand that 7 plus 1 does not equal 11 (the amount needed to get a damned point in this prediction). Adding a win to any other prediction affects nothing. Go back into your fucking hole and choke on a mole.
