since phx said he is buying fighters just out of defiance or some bulshit i am posting a suggestion out of defiance to. we should make the roster limit or whatever 15 fighters. i counted all are teams and this means hogs like sandmen and phonix will lose some fighters but no one else in the site will be effected by 15 person rosyer limit. this means we would all get more fights for are fighters caus a lot of the time there are no fights on a card for some teams and other guys like sandmen and pheonix have 20 fighters each. it give us all more fihts and wil stop people from having too many fighters. 20 is gay. no one needs 20 fighters when some guys have 6!!!
what do you think of my sugestion?

Yes, in fact before I read this, this is pretty much what I said in reply to Sandman's temporary roster limit.

I'm in agreement in here. Some people believe we are cats. See other thread.

Quick question, before I eventually toss my opinion into this mess - If you have 10 women and 10 men, does that still make having 20 fighters "gay"?

The defiance thing, was a total joke, Byron. The REAL reason I've bought fighters was 1) I was curious to see what Swick would do at a 2-0, 2) I'd been trying to trade for Kobold for ages from the Ducks and he wouldn't trade her and 3) I needed to make my weak team stronger; which I did. I didn't accumulate fighters to hoard them or to get more fights. I got the extra fighters to make my weak team stronger and have more opportunity for trade.
Also, need I remind you, Byron, that it was in fact you that wanted to bring in the "Buy a Fighter" rule in the first place and now that I have used this rule to strengthen my roster, and yet you, by the way, have not, that you're using this new rule that you wanted against me. Why is it that you're turning around and saying that my roster size is a problem for you? Could you not just buy fighters as well?
Bringing in a 15 fighter limit now completely handcuffs me in terms of: 1) I've spent the last 3 seasons building my weak team into a stronger group. 2) It totally kills my draft, because all I can draft are points. 3) I've built a team of fighters I like and have put points into most of them and 4) This completely wipes out all the work I've done over the last 3 seasons to this team and in one foul swoop; I'm a weak team again cuz I'll lose fighters that I've been investing in already. Ask me how happy I am about that. I dare you. lol
Furthermore, and for the most part, I've had more than a few difficulties trying to make trades with quite a few different GMs on the site, including you, Byron, and no one is either willing or able to give me what my fighters are worth, even if they have winning records. As I've said before, it's incredibly daunting, and also another reason for my roster being the size that it is, because it's extremely difficult to trade.
I can't take, nor can I abide by any roster limit of this type. By doing this, all you're doing is putting my team back to square one and have completely wasted my time in the process. Thanks, but no thanks. I chose to BUILD my roster through the draft and with the new "Buy A Fighter" rule; any one of you could have done the same thing, but chose not to. Why should I, or Sandmen for that matter, be subject to this, when all we've done is BUILD our teams? ...instead of focusing on specific fighters or downsizing like GrappleMuch? did. It's just a different way of building your team. I honestly don't see much of a problem with this when everyone could have built their rosters this way. So, that being said, I intend on keeping ALL my fighters, Thank you very much...
Have a nice day.
