I changed my mind i got tired of low ball offers of 2 draft picks for 44XP or 5 points for 47xp and my 2 fighters. i put all 47 of my points into silas. you lowballers just unleashed a monster

So instead of blaming everyone else as being "low ballers", maybe you should try and be more clear of what you're after when folks actually ask you "what do you feel fair value is?" instead of taking offense to it cuz they're not going to "sell you the farm" like you seemed to have expected them to. Just something to think about dude. |

I can see both sides. 47 XP and both his fighters for 5 points is pretty weak, and 2 draft picks for 44 XP is worse. "Lowballing" can be frustrating, but if you aren't countering or letting people know what you are seeking, trading is hard/impossible.  I didn;t bother sending an offer cause I assumed the price for 44 XP would be steep, plus my fighters are good as is. I don't want to dominate ML too much. And yes Silas will be a monster now. But he is no Minerva. |

LIES!!! lol I don't have "the worst fighters imaginable"... I just have allot of fighters that are just now coming into their primes; basically means I'm a good scout. It just doesn't translate well for picking them when I did. You're already seeing (IRL) that fighters like Zingano, Eye, Gustafsson and D'Alelio (to a point) are legit fighters and deserve to be here. That's the pick of the crop I had when I came in and I went for that. I could've taken the Ken Shamrock's and the Matt Serra's, but, despite them being slightly premature to pick, I believe I've still got stronger skill sets to build on than maybe some of the Legendy types. I think some should probably be a LITTLE better than they are, but that's because we have a bit of a different view on skill sets and I've also seen different things in these fighters than you have. It's not a bad thing; nor is it good... It just means I'm going to have to spend a little more time upgrading them. |

I mean, look at Mein, Kampmann, MacDonald, Herman, Kedzie - they are all coming off amazing wins in their last real life fights. Wait...um......oh........ Mein won his UFC debut; just a new beginning for him. Kampmann came up against an uber-aggressive, uber-hungry Hendricks; that one didn't surprise me that he lost. A 20-8 record and a win over Carlos Condit doesn't suck; despite the fact that I don't like Condit, I know how good he is. MacD... Well, you've kinda got me there. He's a favorite. I like his style of fighting but also the fact he fought out of Edmonton, and still lives there now, kinda helped. Herman, like Danzig, drew me to him through TUF; same with Kalib Starnes for that matter. They talk the talk and can beat the living snot out of you. I like his style. As for Kedzie, you've even said yourself that's she's a "Mini-Legend" AND that she's good in the simulator (Overall)... it just doesn't translate against some of the other fighters in the league... yet. Just wait on that one. It's coming. Carano vs. Kedzie will come to pass in ManMMA too. |
