Anyone remember when Sandmen was sane? Aside from probably the worst attempt at trolling in ManMMA history, what was the point of this post? It was neither funny, nor clever, nor relevant to this thread? I welcome a witty shot at any time, in any thread, but this was just pathetic.

I dunno... it was pretty pertinent to my post... but no one expects you you get REAL humor

If you two think what your doing is real humour, I pity you both. At least if Phoenix's "brain on drugs" comment was a shot directed at me, it was definitely within the vein of the thread, thus passes as funny/clever. But this "remember when sandman was sane, lmao lmao lmao lmao lmao" stuff, is stupid. Like, without exaggeration, my 4 year old is wittier than that. Not even joking.

I'm sorry sandmen that my sense of humor offends you sooooo much... i just thought it was better than me going on a rant about how horrible you are for making me feel old... do you remember when tvs were huge but the screen was tiny. do you remember when you had to get up to turn the channel.. do you remember when tvs were black and white?

Also, Freddy's dead is one of the best movies ever. For humor value and extremely cheesy one liners (ie. "You forgot the Power Glove!"), then sure. Freddy's Dead was still the worst out of the series though.

Not that anyone cares, but I actually had a clap on clap off light in bedroom as a kid. There were many clapping wars fought and I rarely won (in this my life has not changed). Clap on folks, clap on.

I would be laughing my ass off if a house had random clap on clap off lights, but in certain parts of the house, the lights could hear other location clapping. So you have five or six people around the house constantly clapping, fighting each other to get them to shut off without anyone having to move and failing because they accidentally triggered the other.

Would the clapper be sensitive enough that if you were watching The Price is Right and people were clapping, your lights would go on and off and on and off?

I think I first kinda became aware of the "where's the beef" joke/slogan/whatever probably from The Simpsons or general pop culture. Wasn't until college I actually saw the original commercial though. Funny shit. Though apparently that campaign was unsuccessful, as I don't think sales reflected the popularity of the commercial itself.
Do people remember all those weird McDOnalds characters? Hamburgler, Grimmace, et al? They were silly.
