Yeah, how about that. You took a perpetual #1 contender tossed a point into him, and he beat a declining champ who basically has been a 50% fighter since then. Furthermore, Cruz defended the title against 1 plug, and 1 other washed up contender. Then he lost the belt. And failed to re-acquire it just like before. Hmmm. Guess joining Team Phoenix didn't make as much difference as we thought. Meh well. There's always Mein at MW. Oh.......umm......hmmmmm....... If you really wanna put your balls where your mouth is, if Joachim loses his title fight, wanna put Joachim up against Cruz? Winner gets both fighters? I'd take the fight, but not for those particular stakes. Call it chicken shit if you want but, as you say, anything can happen in ManMMA... injury, early stoppage by a stupid ref... it does happen. That's not to say that I don't think Cruz could/would beat Hansen, cuz I do... But why would I put up an elite fighter for a (relative) scrub, in comparison. Not a smart bet on my part, especially if the rook gets lucky due to reasoning mentioned. That doesn't do my team any good. Just feeds my own ego if I do win cuz I'd value Danzig over Hansen. That's just the truth.

And that is why you fail.

And that is why you fail. Nah. Failing would actually be going through with putting up Cruz in a fight like that. And that was proved already to be the case through the whole Rousey thing with Cannon. So, no thanks. I'll do the smart thing and not take that moronic bet... but as I said, I'll still take a fight between Cruz & Hansen, no problem.

Hansen feels the same way.
