i doubt you were hacked.. as far as i know video game machines cannot ruin your tv. but if it could be hacked... then contact sony and tell them.. even if your tv isn't made by sony they still have a hacked game on their system.. then can be responsible. but as i said i doubt this happened. There is nothing wrong with the game. It's a legit, unhacked, un-virused game. It's just a fucking rip off is all. He is embarrassed for being ripped off, and now he is going on a Godzilla-esque rampage throughout the world.
