In a statement released on PhoenixFC.com earlier this morning, and later confirmed on ManMMA.com, it appears that recently released Middleweight fighter Jon Fitch (18-14) has already found a new home. In the statement, Phoenix FC states "This is an exciting day at Phoenix Fight Club. We have purchased the rights to Middleweight fighter Jon Fitch (At the cost of 2 points.), shoring up our already well rounded line up of middleweight fighters. This will help take the pressure off of our current arsenal of Middleweights moving forward and also further legitimizes our club in the Middleweight division."

Fitch, a Fort Wayne, Indiana native, recently of The HammerFists, currently has a 1-1 record thus far this season, and a deal is already rumored to be in place with Fitch and his agent to become the newest member of Phoenix Fight Club. There has been no official word from Fitch's camp as of yet, but Phoenix Fight Club has scheduled a press conference for Monday morning, where it's expected that the signing will be made official.
