Either than the top 4? cause you don't say. So like everyone but the top 4 would receive 10-15 points? I think I understand the question... What I meant was the top 4, meaning Kaufman, Carano, Cyborg & Rousey, but also fighters that have had 10-15-ish points put into them already, these fighters would be exempt from the point increase. The increase is meant to give a boost to the neglected fighters but also for those teams with fighters that don't accumulate a ton of points regularly. Just something to give the women's division little more parity and make it a little more exciting and not so cut and dried in terms of winners and losers sometimes. But also narrowing the gap a little between the top fighters and the rest of the pack to make it seem less daunting to try and upgrade to them to the top levels. Re: suggestion 1- How can we tell when things have evened out? I'm not naysaying these, just want to understand them before I answer. This is probably one of the "unpopular" parts. They way we know is when Carano, Cyborg & Kaufman start losing a little more frequently than they have been and not just against eachother. I'm not particularly fond of Suggestion #1, it was one of the things Sandman mentioned to me when we were speaking about this but I'd be remiss not to mention all options in a forum such as this. So that folks know what has been discussed. It's simply an option available to narrow the gap, but it still doesn't address the daunting task for the rest of the teams of still having to put in about 30 points (that most don't have or tend to acquire) just to get them to that level to be able to compete and it really wouldn't change allot at all, unfortunately. It just restricts the top fighters, and like Rousey has been handcuffed lately cuz she's the highest overall in the simulator now and no one's been able to catch up to her, it leaves those fighters in limbo, which is something I didn't want to do because it's not fair to the top fighters that have been built up to that status. To me, it's much more fair to give the fighters around them a little nudge up in their games to create more and better competition around them and around the division as a whole rather than cap them and have situations like Cannon in the PA thread encouraging Ramrod to upgrade Cyborg when in reality he's waiting for Kaufman to move up in overall so he can upgrade Rousey some more. As much as we trash eachother, I gotta feel bad for the guy, cuz he's stuck at a point where he's got capped fighter, but he can't do anything about it until the rest of the pack catches up, or more to the point Kaufman, unfortunately. Anyways, I hope that explains it a little better. |

As much as we trash eachother, I gotta feel bad for the guy, cuz he's stuck at a point where he's got capped fighter, but he can't do anything about it until the rest of the pack catches up, or more to the point Kaufman, unfortunately. Don't feel bad for him. He built his fighter wrong. You accused him of this yourself. So he backed himself into that corner, and he saw the progress along the way and kept doing it. We are all responsible for our own upgrades. Like when I fucked up Joachim. I stopped in my tracks, re-adjusted him, and made it better. That's what people need to do when their upgrades are either not working, or they are making their fighters suck worse than they did before. Smart upgrading vs. power upgrading. |

your neglecting the fact that I put 31 points into rousey do I get 15 of those back , also not all women are equal thus 15 point would give sum fighter a clear boost up to rouseys, kaufmann lvl thus making us spend more point then needed |

FYI PHX rousey had 31 upgrades, she sucked to begin with worse then tara larosa, ur 18 points into d'alelio she still suckls the way I see it u have 10 ups left for he to still suck if ppl get 15 freee points then I want 15 free upoint that I spent on rousey to use at will on another fighter 1) I've put 26 points into D'Alelio thus far and I still have a couple of things to tweak. I, in no way, said she was perfect, and I'm figuring she started out at a worse build than Rousey did because of the loss to Rousey IRL, so of course she's not going to be as good as you made Rousey yet. The only bonus for me with that is that Sarah's got so few fights to this point that it'll be easier to go back and pinpoint the flaws and fix them, mostly just the last to fights though thankfully. 2) Sounds to me like you've been talking to Sandman too much there Cannon and also didn't even read what I suggested up there at all and just skimmed it. Your other female fighters would be eligible the 5-10 point increase; on your team only Rousey would be exempt because of the 31 you've already put into her, as would D'Alelio be exempt aswell because I've put 26 points into her so far. This isn't a "rob the rich and give to the poor" senario here bro... it's about closing the gap a little bit in the division and making it more exciting for everyone in the league and not just have the same gals on top for the next 3-4 seasons while the rest of the gals catch up, if they do at all. Know what I mean? |

well maybe if u didn't think d'alelio was the best and all that and upgraded davis u would have a contender at kaufmann rousey lvl with those 26 points, like I said giving 10 points for free well fighter are worst and sum better build doesn't equal out anything look at mcmann she top 10 on list and has 1 upgrade into her now with those 10 point she be caught up 2 ur precious d'alelio for nothing also rousey wasn't best build either so do I get extra compensation like 13 points back I dounbt sandmen know what starting overall were to compensate |
