So, there was some discussion on what to do regarding the additional fighters in the ML division and how we can utilize points as a team for development, and this is what it will become.
The Pyramid
Every team has two fighters minimum.
For those who wish to only maintain their two fighters, the rule for them will stay the same:
Your primary fighter (the one you started out with) can assign their points to the secondary fighter.
If you have more than two fighters, this is how the pyramid works:
Your Primary and Secondary fighters can assign their points to your third and fourth fighters.
Your Secondary fighter may only obtain points from your Primary fighter.
Your Third and Fourth fighters may not earn points from each other, but rather can accumulate compounded points from your Primary and Secondary fighters.
Your Third and Fourth fighters cannot assign points up the pyramid to the Secondary or Primary fighters.
The Kicker
Your best fighter may only have a maximum of 50 stat points more than the weakest fighter on your team. This ensures that if a team chooses to focus on one elite fighter, they must still utilize a development of their remaining fighters, so you cannot use your Primary and Secondary fighters as punching bags and develop only one fighter for the rest of the ML's existence.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I'll include this brief re-cap of point accumulation:
Primary - earns their own points. Cannot be provided points by another fighter. Can distribute their points to any fighter on the team.
Secondary - can obtain points from the Primary. Can distribute their points to any fighter on the team except for the Primary fighter.
Third and Fourth Fighters - cannot transfer points to each other. Can obtain points from the Primary and Secondary fighters. Cannot donate points to the Primary or the Secondary fighters.
This all allows your newest fighters who start off with as many points as if they lost every fight card we've had to gain some power and jump up quicker into contention if you wish to focus on them.
Remember, this is to a maximum improvement of 50 stat points into your best fighter above your weakest fighter. That means that if your weakest fighter starts getting points with your best, and your weakest gets better than another fighter, you must then upgrade that other fighter if you continue to upgrade your best.
That's the best balance while providing the best options for each team to remain competitive yet still have the freedom to go all out on one fighter.
