Usually "exciting" and "new" brings about some controversial, pain in the ass change. This one is easy and it only affects you if you want it to.
Prologue
Fighters have fight tools - skills and methods they use in a fight. They can determine small things like a fighters style of fighting (aggressive, defensive), or how often they do certain things (fancy punches, kicks, submissions), etc. They have remained static...until now.
Change
If you want me to review a fighters style (comparing it to their real life counter part), you may now request a review. Things like this might affect people like, Josh Koscheck, who came into MMA as a GnP wrestler, but has significantly evolved his striking. Or Sarah D'Alelio, who just started throwing superman punches her last fight, Or Conor McGregor, who was primarily crafted as a boxer, but has since shown everyone his fancy kicks. And so on.
Lastly
I predict this will have little to no direct impact on the simulation of these fights. But it might. The most important thing, however, is that without affecting overalls, it is a way to review how I or the simulator built fighters who change their style as they progress.
How do I do it?
If you want a review, please post the name(s) of fighters you want reviewed in this thread. I will get to it as soon as I can, and post "done" once the review has been completed. You MUST submit names, though, and not "please review all my fighters". And if there is something specific you want me to look at, mention it. "I don't think Uriah Hall can do fancy kicks, can you check that" type thing. A general look-over from me will probably catch any problems, but it helps if you have something pinpointed in mind that might stand out.
Results
All you will see is a "done", when your review is completed. You will not be informed if any changes were made. We need to maintain some degree if iron curtain here
Please note:
- NO RATINGS OR FIGHTING STATS WILL BE AFFECTED. This is strictly a tools-related review.
- Just because a review was requested, then conducted does not mean a change will be made.
- If a fighter has had no real life fights between the time they were created/last-reviewed and the review request, no new review will be conducted.
