I don't know if I ever have agreed with a split decision, I always get confused when one judge scores it the complete opposite, that pisses me off because it shows a glaring hole in accurate and even scoring.

I disagree. I think it shows the truth - scoring of fights is subjective. Some people think "beating someone up" consists of controlling them for 15 minutes and never letting them do anything they want to do. Others think it comes in the form of hitting someone, or unsuccessfully trying to break their limbs. Different perspectives see different things. Like when Leaf fans watch the Leafs, they see hope and false playoff dreams, whereas the rest of the NHL sees an easy win and a 9th place conference finish.

That's what I mean though. I think that scoring shouldn't be subjective.

it is subjective in the sense that it's in the eyes of the judge. How do you regulate it so that a judge is not needed? cause thats what would happen if you can make fighting non subjective.. Battle to the death?

That's what I mean though. I think that scoring shouldn't be subjective. It should be though...because what is the "correct answer" on how many points a takedown is worth? Or a landed punch? Or a submission ATTEMPT? It cannot be anything but subjective. Even if its not subjective, like a UFC video game, whoever determines the point value of each thing is not going to be objective. It's not possible.
