He kind of always did, but the thing is, that is very typical of a documentary that is trying to argue something. It's just like an essay for school. You ignore contradictory evidence and argue your point. In the end, his points are good at their core. US should have better health care. People should NOT run around shooting each other. Capitalism IS a love story, etc.
