Haha I know, right? I remember being so confused about what the purpose of it was if it was all fake. I was like...there is nothing on Earth like this then...people pretending to fight, but people pretend its real. Like, in a movie, you know its a movie, but in wrestling, it was all presented as a real sport type thing. Too much for the childhood brain.

YEs. But I mean even now, as an adult, I could understand that and understand entertainment/monetary value of faux-fights, but as a kid, I remember being so confused by that - like...it seemed like competition and live entertainment with guys hurting each other to try to win...but then they weren;t...they were pretending...live...with people there. Not on a movie set...but in an arena. It was SO WEIRD, hahaha.
