i mean even with modern day actors, scripts ect... there is a special kind of campiness that you don't see anymore. An ability to deliver lines that are soo ridiculous. Who says Yipee kie yay motherfucker? it's as cool/unrealistic as Dirty Harry asking if you feel lucky.

some of the catch phrases are not because of writing as much as we find it funnier or enjoy it moreso then expected.

I think it's just that I watched it with low expectations so I wasn't as disappointed. I really did enjoy Dolph Lundgren's and Jason Statham's characters though.

Yah, it was total clown shoes if you expected it to be an epic action film... lol especially with Eric Roberts as the bad guy; even though that was probably the guy's best performance in his entire career! : Which isn't really saying that much.. I guess it pays to be Julia's brother though...

while he's not quite as old as Arnold, some older guys can pull off the action. Look at Bruce in Die Hard 4. Crazy action (too much actually).
