It scares me because people took a LONG time to realize anti-Arab/Muslim/Middle East sentiments were racist. It somehow became socially acceptable, even though we all know treating other visible minorities like shit based on their race was unacceptable, somehow we forgot because of the media spin on Muslims and Middle Eastern people.

I went to Israel during the Christmas Break. It actually is a nice country to visit. I don't like the people because they took my land (I'm Palestinian. It's a long story) but they land itself is beautiful. I loved the beach when we went. Plus the people from Jerusalem were really nice. They weren't terrorists or mean. The news only shows the bad side of the Arab community never the good side.
