If we're halving the posts-per-points, the cap stays at 78, as the purpose of the halving is making closer fights and easier/more exciting match-making. If you want to post a suggestion poll to have the cap upped now INSTEAD OF halving the posts-per-points next season, feel free, but I don't feel it will get the support it would need, as it would only benefit 2 members, rather than the league as a whole. Now, this is not something I'll debate here. If you want to continue to debate this, please do so in this thread. I do not want to continue cluttering up and convoluting the Point Allocation thread. |

CapsBecause of point 2 above, if we make the change to halved points, I think we'll keep the women's division cap as it stood (78), rather than moving it up to 80, as was previously announced. The purpose of that low cap was to level out the top-heavy women's division, and that is still being worked on now. As we've seen this past half-season, the women's division is still very predictable. We'll re-evaluate this upping of the women's cap in the near future. Therefore, the original 4 upgrades ARE valid and I have 1 point remaining. |

If you wanna go by what is posted, Sarah was never removed from the capped list. The time stamp on that will predate all of this.
Regardless, Sarah's upgrades are not, and will not be processed. Put them into Davis, or more importantly Smith. Or Eye. Or the 12 other women you have that are the reason the cap HAS TO be at 78. Too many lower/mid tier women.

No. Regardless, and more importantly, by the time stamps, Sarah, as well as Rousey, were OFF the capped list the moment you decreed that the cap was being raised to 80. You "re-lowered" the cap only AFTER you saw that I wanted to upgrade D'Alelio, claiming she was still capped on this thread prior to saying that you were re-lowering the cap. The cap had been raised to 80 for well over a month, so follow your own fucking rules and your decrees for a change instead of making them up as you go along to suit YOURSELF. These are valid upgrades; I proved they're valid upgrades... whether you re-lower the cap after the fact is irrelevant. I made these upgrades prior to that, and you need to honor it otherwise you really are the corrupt piece of shit you claim not to be. Prove me wrong. |

No, the cap was re-lowered when, in your own words, our agreement was null and void. If you like time stamps, you will that see our agreement was void on May 6, LONG before any of this. When you said that, I figured you knew that encompassed the fighter upgrades, so I didn't bother making a number of announcements about it (GAP hates announcements). The un-doing of our agreement is why I never updated the capped fighter list either. Sarah, and others, were still capped, and are still capped. These upgrades will not be processed, no matter how long you argue this point. Put them into someone else. When our agreement was null and void, so too was the "We will raise the women's cap" part of my end of the agreement. I also went to update the points and see you've given the job to Ferocity so we can consider the rest null and void too then. End of story. (If you insist on continuing to argue it, do it privately, or in the other thread. Anything further here, in this administrative thread, will be deleted - people use this thread for business, so let's keep it clean.) |
