The element of chance is one thing; everyone SHOULD have a chance... but the fact remains that we have a number of fighters that should be atleast decent and they're not (Smith), but fighters that should only be decent are fighting like they're fucking phenoms (Murphy), and that was even before the upgrades. It just borders on stupidity... and that's not exactly you, it's the way the simulator was programmed... It still bothers me though that most everyone has to put 30+ points into nearly every new/created fighter for them to be any good. That's supremely lame... especially when it comes to the women who are all created.

1 point into an upgrade should do more so that you dont need 30+ upgrades to do better.. but on the other side 1 point upgrade should not turn someone into jebus on a unicycle

1 point into an upgrade should do more so that you dont need 30+ upgrades to do better.. but on the other side 1 point upgrade should not turn someone into jebus on a unicycle 1 upgrade makes your person 1 upgrade point better than people who were of equal standing and have not been upgraded. But when you have people like Cannon (especially) and PHX maxing people out, that is where you obviously need 30+ upgrades to make a difference.
