2 new champions is a in my book. Plus 3 major comebacks, 2 flash KOs including 1 absolute shocker.

Only one new champion as far as I'm concerned... there was no need for Carano to drop the belt at all, and flash KO's kinda suck when you get right down to it.

Flash KOs are what MMA is all about. WHo wants to see someone get slaughtered for 5 rounds before finally taking so much of a damned beating they cannot remain conscious. Screw that, flashes are more exciting.

Screw that, flashes are more exciting. I agree with GAP but it also depends on who's doing the Flash KOing too. It's more exciting when it's an underdog a la McCall over Sanchez. Personally, I'd honestly rather see an actual fight to a 5 round draw or decsion than any Flash KO.

Have you ever seen a Chuck Liddell fight? There was a reason he was the most popular MMA fighter in the world for many, many years. Same with Anderson. Kings of the Flash KO. A flash KO is not a fluke, it just means you are so god damned skilled, and so god damned precise you can end a fight with one perfect shot at any time.

No a flash KO means you were able to hit a powerful punch past your opponents defense and his body couldn't handle the punch.. has nothing to do with skill. Look at hendricks. the only reason why he wins so much is cause he has such powerful hands all he needs is one punch to finish it. no skill involved.. skill comes from a multitude of successful strikes or significant control in BJJ

He has been called precise. He has a ton of KOs. Some guys have power, others use technique and precision. MMA is complex.
