My poll is a simple and straight forward poll with a yes or no answer. The reason for it is to avoid further nonsensical bickering over already solved issues or content that is no longer relevant.
There has been a continued argument over very silly things, or things that the league has already voted for (either in discussion or in official polls) that still acquire some critical insulting by some members of this site. Locking those threads will reduce that bickering and allow the site to progress and discuss new, exciting and fun topics rather than to bathe in the filth of the muddy waters of yester-news.
Vote yes to lock those polls and limit the inappropriate and irrelevent trolling.
OR
Vote no, and support those whose seemingly only purpose on this site is to arouse frustrations and impede on the site's progress.

I am not a fan of locking things, but honestly, this site does have a big problem with things being resolved, yet fought over for many more months.

Agreed. While I'm not usually one to suggest locking threads, I feel this is the only way to avoid having a site that festers in negativity instead of embracing, adapting and progressing.

I agree with that too. Festering negativity is exactly what is happening. Something is resolved, and rather than accepting it and moving on, or working on productive alternatives, we dwell on things and the atmosphere does exactly as you said - festers. It affects the reputation of individuals, and of the site as a whole.
I'd like for people to be able to resolve this themselves, as it's a pretty straight forward concept, but they might not be able to, so this might be quite a positive suggestion.

If they were actually "resolved" properly without bias, malice or politics involved, and if all points were taken into account instead of being shuffled off to the side because they're not in agreement with the topic, then there would actually be allot less bickering.

So instead of stopping, you are going to start a new bicker fest?
Makes sense...

Nope. No bicker fest here... Again, adding a point to the discussion that wasn't being addressed, but yet again you're trying say I'm bickering. Just because you say it, doesn't make it fact Sandman. I do however appreciate you verifying my point is valid by making that comment. Thanks.

Again, you are Kruzing the point.
The POINT of this poll/discussion in THIS THREAD is whether to LOCK THREADS of issues the league declares resolved. Once the league has resolved an issue, we do not NEED people running around trying to stir up things. If you don't like something, do what Rocketmen did here and post a poll to change it.
So thank YOU, Phoenix, for proving my/his point, that this is actually a very important poll, and something we should take serious stock in.

Those are some strong accusations but without proof you're just slandering the site. Good on you for proving my point on this poll. Kruze - always part of the problem, never part of the solution.

Kruze - always part of the problem, never part of the solution. NOW, don't get me wrong. I WANT Kruze to be part of the solution. I WANT him, and GAP, and people who have problems with issues to talk them out in the suggestion box or whereever, and come up with solutions. That is what I fucking WANT. Not bitching after shit is closed. Rise above; rise against. Be part of the solution. Think creatively and solve that shit on up!

Why don't we lock Kruze out of the site instead? A much lesser workload to do thar

Those are some strong accusations but without proof you're just slandering the site. Good on you for proving my point on this poll. Kruze - always part of the problem, never part of the solution. There's proof all over the site Mike. Any time I say something that's in opposition to a decision made or anything, it's construed as me bitching or complaining even when I'm not. But because I actually stand up for myself instead of let you or anyone else walk all over me when you go on one of your trolling sprees or whatever it is, I end up taking the brunt of it because I don't put up with it. I offer solutions all the time, but they're always dismissed off-hand, not always because they're bad ideas, but because of who's suggesting it which lends to exactly what I was eluding to as bias, malice and politics. I maybe part of the problem sometimes Mike, but you sure as hell are no part of any solution either when you're continually going around baiting me like you do then crying foul when I don't let you get away with it. We all need to shut the fuck up around here sometimes, not just me. The problem is the way you "resolve" issues and how issues are discussed around here Justin. As I eluded to above, anytime I actually voice a concern with something, it's construed as me bitching when I'm usually trying to come up with a solution that is beneficial for all, not just a few. But any facts I put forth on any issue are just cast off to the side, seem to be refuted out of spite or what I've said is twisted and "interpreted" so far out of context by you or Mike, that, of course, anyone reading is going think that I'm not making any sense and is never taken into account. Also, anytime a "decision" is put into place, it's usually something that's basically shoving shit down my throat cuz I have an objection to it and saying "Fuck you Kruze, you have no say on anything around here anyways.", even when I was staff. It's enough to get anyone frustrated. It's little wonder that I tend to complain about things... and it mostly stems from how I'm treated by some folks on this site. There's points where it is warranted, but I end up getting fingered for starting all the time when there's a large majority of the time that it's not me starting it at all. I just get blamed cuz it's the easy "solution", not because it's necessarily fact. :-/
