Moral: Rousey in real life is handed free wins so Dana WHite and the UFC can cash-cow her. Can we agree on that part too? I'll compare this Dana-Rousey thing as to the recent WWE feud where Triple H named Randy Orton the Face of the business, and continued to give him title matches against top talent, and when they lose, HHH strips them of the belt and gives it back to Orton. I expect that to happen if McMann wins at the UFC PPV. She gets the title for one day before she get stripped of the title for "wearing her gloves wrong" or "not putting enough tape on her hands" or "wearing a T-Shirt in a UFC match". Possibly, but more likely they would give Rousey an immediate rematch, then, if rousey lost again, a different fight she could win for sure, then a 3rd rematch. This is what will happen any time Rousey loses the belt, if she doesn't step down. |

I'm curious who Rousey will be fighting next after that last performance. The UFC excites me in a few divisions now because I feel like things are moving much quicker.

Zingano if she is well enough, or Davis perhaps if Zingano isn't. Davis will get destroyed against Rousey. Zingano might have a shot, but coming off injury, i REALLY doubt it. Rousey gets to coast for a while.

I honestly think it'll be more of a mental battle-back for Cat than it'll be physical one, when/if she does come back.

It was unfortunate when Cat went down because as much as I enjoyed seeing TUF with Tate, I really wanted to see what Zingano was all about having seen her all of one time. |

Injuries happen unfortunately... :-/ I was looking forward to that too. I'm just not certain if she'll be able to bounce back to form mentally after losing her husband as she did, also since he was her trainer as well. Could be a tall order. |

Cat would probably need a tune-up fight before a title shot and I don't know if she would take one. I kinda doubt it, even though it would be best for her to do so. She's been out for about a year, Rousey's fought 3 times in that time.

There's about 3 or 4 girls that are probably better than her in that UFC Women's division, so in realism, McMann was just a sparring partner for Rousey. Hey, anyone wanna start a petition for UFC to force to sign Cyborg and give her an instant title shot? This is what the UFC fans want. |
