What? The simulator is weird like that. ie. It's like how Benson beats everyone but Diego, yet Diego will lose to guys like Fisher, but Benson beats Fisher. That kind of thing. Then we have fighters like Fedor, the Gracies, etc. that are relatively high class fighters in terms of overall, but they lose to the saddest sacks in the league allot of the time. It's not a big deal... it's just odd, that's all.

Royce Gracie is a 1996 fighter. I think in real MMA, he always will be a 1-dimensional joke. I would say all the Gracie's would be. They are arrogant, that their style is the best and always will be, and that is not correct. MMA evolved beyond the Gracies, and I think if we look at the Hughes fight, and we look at the Gracies objectively now, and in the past, we can see they really would get slaughtered against the best of all time in their primes. But luckily, that is why we have upgrades. I wonder if I should take another stab at Gracie. Hey xx - Former Phoenix Fight Club, would you take 1 point for Ian McCall?

Yes, but RocketMen upgrades the shit out of Royce, and he still wasn't up to snuff and he even ended up turfing him. lol And nah, I want 2 points for McCall; I have put points into him already, and he was reviewed back in October. So 2 points is more than fair IMO. I know you'll say "he's only worth a point to drop", but if that's what I felt he was worth, don't you think I would have dropped him already? Plus, anytime anyone wants a fighter from you for points, the cost is 2+ or the equivalent, no matter who it is... so I really don't see how you can expect any different from anyone else.

Makes no difference to me if I buy Royce for 2 points or someone else for 2 points to swap for Royce. I will just get Royce directly later.

So why would you think I'd take only a point for McCall? lol Why not just offer the 2 points if you're just going to swap him for Royce anyways? :

Because I have no desire to do that right now. If I wanted to take on Gracie right now, I would, for 2 points. If I got a bargain on someone, I would take on Gracie for 1 point. Regardless, I am more happy not taking on new bodies, as I am happy with my Sandmen and Soviets. Lots to do, and so few points. I wonder if I should start a poll to get me down to 50 posts per point.

I wonder if people who preach to the choir can be heard over the choir, or if thats what that really means. "Preaching to the choir is useless because the choir is fucking singing and cannot hear you, retard!" I always assumed it was because a choir is pre-converted, but my new theory makes more sense.

Both are acceptable, as is you're basically singing the same song as the choir, which is equally as useless. lol

Yeah. Well, unless you are the lead singer of the choir...then you probably should be singing with them.
