I didn't see Murphy's blog, so I don't know... it does sound very much like what Lauren would say. If it was, I think Fitzgibbons did the right thing here; it's not like he always comes out and talks trash all the time. I totally agree with him.

Thing is, if what Murphy said in her blog is true and that she even feels she gets the shit kicked out of her for the first two rounds then comes back, then her record should be 2-5 not 7-0. It just really validates my point that she's the luckiest woman in MMA right now. As far as I'm concerned, she doesn't deserve any of the accolades she's been handed, especially the Invicta bantamweight title.

Dick move or not... It's the truth. Murphy doesn't deserve anything that's been handed to her, much like it was initially when Dana just handed Rousey the belt. The circumstances are different, obviously, but the spirit of it being undeserved is very much the same.

No, I have no problems with trainers standing up for their fighters. Even Rousey's annoying little twerp Edmond. Don't like the guy, but he's a corner-folk. He can do whatever he wants, as far as I'm concerned. It's what fighters themselves do that I judge them on.
