I prefer to keep the voting tallies cluttered. I also think that because it's a near concensus, the The Sandmen can probably make an executive decision on what he feels is most appropriate.

This clearly has the most support. We'll go with that. YAY SOMETHING WAS SETTLED.
NOW, this issue of FiD. I kind of like what Underdogs had said, with having Post-Fight Press Conferences. I'll probably start doing those regardless, either on the results page or in a new thread after the fights. But do we want that to be a factor on FiD?
What I would like to do is incorporate that Post Fight Press Conference into FiD. Instead of the system we have now, the closeness of fighters to danger can be mentioned at the PFPC. So instead of "3 losses gets you on the list, 5 gets you cut", it's more like reality, where performance, opponent, and difficulty are taken into account.
These are the flaws with our current system: 1) The fighters record is not taken into account - we've seen people like Sarah Kaufman on the list. There's no way Sarah should be even considered as an option to be cut. She is a high-level performer, who just had a bad fight or two.
2) The fighters' level is not taken into account - again, Kaufman's losing streak put her on the FiD list when her losses were to basically the #1, #2 and #3 fighters in her weight class.
3) Tying in with #2, if a fighter wins every 4th fight simply because he is fighting terrible fighters and is still neglected, this fighter is perpetually safe, but is sitting at a record ratio of 1:3 or 1:4. (Which, need I say, is terrible)
With the PFPC, we'd establish who was safe, who MIGHT be in danger if they don't see some improvement, who MUST win their next fight, and who needs to be improved upon regardless.

And, of course, the PFPC would give everyone the chance to ask about specific fighters' positions and performances, etc.

@ The Sandmen: I'm still not seeing how any fighters could be on 11 fight losing streaks unless they're on teams that you've given FiD exemption to. Would you please clarify this because it makes no sense.

I request to be head of the PFPC As much as I would love for you to be that guy, I'll post it after sims, and it only really makes sense for me to do it, since I have all the data about win streaks, losses, performance history, etc. on my hard drive.

I'm kinda impressed that this discussion actually went somewhere. 2 issues and new solutions to try for the upcoming season. Give yourselves a pat on the back.
