I'm taking a gamble here, hoping this doesn't over-complicate or frustrate people, and actually makes some match-making decisions easier. I could be very, very wrong, but what's life without a little gambling?
Unlike most polls, this isn't a "majority-wins" type poll. This is a poll asking YOUR personal preference for YOUR fighters.
So, when it comes to match-making, I often find myself stuck with the a series of problems and questions. It's like a chess match. Sometimes someone is overdue for a fight, but the only other people who are also due are no where near their skill level. Or the only person also due for a fight in their skill bracket is someone they just fought 3 fights ago.
I always do my best here and most of the time it works out, but sometimes I am left with the above problems and have to make guesses - but the priorities of these can change based on personal preference for each team. So, I am asking you your own preferences for your team (as a whole, not a fighter-by-fighter breakdown please).
I have included "Tournament fights" in the rank list because sometimes people might NOT want a lesser fighter in a tournament so they can avoid injury, or perhaps develop more. Others might always want to be in tournaments cause ya never know what can happen.
So, if you could rank these items in your order of priority, that would be great:
- Number of fights your fighter gets in a season (if you want a lot of fights in a season, rank this high)
- Close skill match-ups (if you want close fights rather than underdog fights, rank this high)
- Underdog fights (if you WANT a lot of underdog fights, rank this high)
- No-rematches (if you want to fight as few rematches as possible, rank this high)
- Tournament fights (if you want to fight in tournaments no matter what, rank this high)
- Fighting teammates (if you do NOT want to fight teammates, rank this high)
Please note:
- I will use this information as best as I can, but there will still be lots of cases where, unfortunately, I will be unable to accommodate your personal preferences. This will help ensure they are followed when possible though.
- tournament fights and underdog fights are NOT connected. If you rank tournament fights high but underdog fights low, you will probably still end up in tournaments with stronger opponents. tournament fights are randomized after the participants are selected.
